Anyone else joining us in April?

:daisy: April (We Don't Mind the Showers) :daisy:

elliefusmom - April 1 - 10 BCV
fterie4u - April 5-April 10 BC (Daughter's 5th birthday!)

This is exactly what we did and we loved it! We were in the lounge for breakfast around 7am and heading to the park by 8am for a 9am rope drop. It was a little tight when we went to morning EMH at 8am - we'd need to grab something super quick at the lounge and eat on the run! Luckily, I always bring ziploc bags to Disney for Marketplace breakfasts on-the-go, so we used those to make our CL lounge breakfast portable too! I think I mentioned this earlier, but our boys liked breakfast so much in the lounge that they asked to cancel our Cape May ADRs!

We also had tons of ADRs in Epcot just like you did and will! So excited for you!

Great minds think alike!!:goodvibes I will add ziplock bags to my list. I always bring a couple for packing but will throw in a few extra!! We only have Crystal Palace ADR's at 10:30 so we will still need a snack to tide us over until then.

I was sooo excited today when I got a pin code for 40% off deluxe resorts. We wanted to upgrade to Club Level at the BC, but sadly it is all booked! :sad2: And then we got adventurous and decided to look at Club Level at the Poly.........nothing :sad2: In the end we looked everywhere except GF and BWI. Out of all the others, the only one available was CR and that was probably the one resort we were least interested in. And in the end it was the least savings from what we are already paying. I believe it was just the ways of the world telling me that I've been dying to stay at the BC anyway I can and I should just stick w/ it!! Now I am back to just patiently :rolleyes1 waiting :rotfl:

I am going to the Beach Club March 6-12th! Can't wait! I worked at the gift shops at the Yacht and Beach Club as a College Program cast member during Fall of 2000 and I have always wanted to stay at Y&B as a guest! So exciting! I love this thread, great info!

Welcome to the 'board' prettyjeepgirl.... When they say welcome home to you they will mean it in a different way!

I love that when you get back to the YC that the CM say "welcome home" to you- it makes you feel special.

I can't wait to get back "home" in Nov!!!!

Four more weeks!!! I can't wait to get there!!!! :cool1:  :woohoo:

Park hours look really good that week, must mean its going to be SUPER busy! Now we just need the World Showcase to stay open later and the trip would be perfect. ;)

My kids went to the Sandcastle Club a few times last summer and loved it!
In fact, after the first time ds asked to go two more times. They liked it so much that we booked it again for next summer.

Thanks for the info! I think my boys would enjoy having some play time instead of swimming or at the parks...I may just book it for them!

We too will be at BCV this October for F&WF... It will be lots of great fun!:cheer2:

We're actually planning 2012. Can't quite go this year. Paying off our debt and then saving for the big trip. So while the debt will be paid off by this Oct., we won't have enough saved for BC this year. (Plus we're going to Savannah this Oct.)

That is still great! You will have a lot of fun!

You are so right. There is just something so welcoming and elegant at the YC. I remember when I walked up to the entrance when we checked in, a CM greeted me by name and led me to the front desk. We had spent the night at CSR, their check in and out were horrible. So not impressed. I know many love that resort but we were not at all impressed. We sat at the bar for 20 minutes and no one even acknowledged us, let alone ask us what we wanted to drink.
There is just something special about the YC. Told dh it is the only resort I will stay at!

Just got home from Jeanne's. Got the washer going. Meeting Pennsylvania friends at Epcot tomorrow afternoon and then dinner at Cape May with them.

It was a fun and productive trip.

I'm working Sunday and Monday and then Tuesday we drive to the Mayo Clinic for testing all day Wednesday starting at 6:45 AM. We'll drive home Wednesday night. If all goes well on Wednesday, surgery will be at the Mayo on 3/10. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all the tests will go great and there will be no further delays. I need to get fixed and ready for the grandchild who is still sexless. She calls it "peanut" and is still refusing to have the sex revealed before birth. I thought after registering at Babies R Us, she'd see all the boy and girl things and decide to find out the sex but nope, she's sticking to her original plan.

It was very nice to get back to nice humid air after that desert dry air!!!!

Best of luck Teena. From someone who has been there, I think the worst part is the not knowing. Once you have all the results, and a plan, it gets better. I hate the being in limbo.

Teena-- I just wanted to write and send you well wishes. You will be in our prayers. Also, we didn't know the sex of DD before she was born. One of my fondest memories is of when DH got to look and see if she was a boy or a girl. I wouldn't have had it any other way!

<---- Is a cancer survivor as well. As others have said the worst is not having the plan in place. Once you do, all gravy from there. Thinking of you and all the rest of us that has to or has had to deal with this shi*** disease.

Jennifer

Teena- wishing you well:goodvibes

I didnt find out with my last DS...a little more time for pink to hang in the closet:laughing:
