Today is my 180 day mark! My TA made the ADR's for me and she got every single one I requested, at the times I requested, too!!! :woohoo: Even Le Cellier and Cinderella's breakfast!!!! :woohoo: And I didn't have to get up early and fight with my computer (I definately have a Murphy's law thing going on with my computer - when I need it to work, it doesn't)! Love my TA! :lovestruc

If you don't mind me asking, do you have a AAA TA or someone else?

Just got home from Jeanne's. Got the washer going. Meeting Pennsylvania friends at Epcot tomorrow afternoon and then dinner at Cape May with them.

It was a fun and productive trip.

I'm working Sunday and Monday and then Tuesday we drive to the Mayo Clinic for testing all day Wednesday starting at 6:45 AM. We'll drive home Wednesday night. If all goes well on Wednesday, surgery will be at the Mayo on 3/10. I'm keeping my fingers crossed all the tests will go great and there will be no further delays. I need to get fixed and ready for the grandchild who is still sexless. She calls it "peanut" and is still refusing to have the sex revealed before birth. I thought after registering at Babies R Us, she'd see all the boy and girl things and decide to find out the sex but nope, she's sticking to her original plan.

It was very nice to get back to nice humid air after that desert dry air!!!!

Praying for good test results!:littleangel:

Hello everyone,
Quick question, does anybody know how come there are rooms with 2 sinks?

also I am booked at the beach club in May, but I am now thinking if I should go and switch to the poly. Has anyone ever stayed at both and can give me a comparison?? Thanks!!

Hi yolie912! Just adding to katesdad's response! We also find the two sinks really helpful for our family of 5 - kids can wash faces, brush teeth, etc. at the same time in the morning and at night. It's very convenient!

Although I've stayed at BC and the Poly several times each since childhood, I was able to compare them sort of back-to-back this year. We stayed at the Poly in January and BC earlier this month. I am very sentimental about the Poly and really enjoy some of the restaurants there - especially Ohana for breakfast! Captain Cooks is really convenient for counter service and Kona is a great lunch spot. I know that several people report the room are worn, but our room was fine. It was bigger than the standard BC rooms, so if space is important to you, that might be a factor. The grounds are really nice and the tiki torches add so much! We stayed at the Poly because we've done quite a few BC stays in the past 12 months and we intended to spend most of our time in MK for that trip (it was for our pre-schooler's birthday.)

We really enjoyed the Poly again, but BC is absolutely our favorite resort. I prefer walking to any other mode of WDW transportation - even more than monorail or boat. So the ability to walk to two parks and the Boardwalk area is huge for us. At Poly, I missed that. Also, we frequently spend the day in one park (MK, AK or DHS) and then have dinner ADRs at Epcot. So BC is perfectly located for that. After dinner, we spend a little more time at Epcot and stroll out the International Gateway. So even though we spend a good portion of our time at MK, BC is still more convenient for us because of our evening dinner plans. SAB can't be beat. I like the volcano pool at the Poly, but SAB is in an entirely different category and has much more for our boys (ages pre-school to pre-teen.) Also, when the weather is either hot, cold or rainy, it's nice to have all the interior corridors connecting everything at BC. While BC has a little Cape May traffic, but I've always found the lobby and common areas less hectic than the monorail resorts. Finally, Teena isn't there to greet us at the Poly!

Thanks for comparing both resorts. I think I will be staying with The Beach Club. Do all the rooms at the beach club have the double sink?

Teena - good luck with all your tests and surgery. I haven't met you yet but feel like I know you through these pages. I don't have experience myself but have friends that are survivors. keep fighting. stay positive.

On another note , I didn't find out with either of my boys. I was convinced the 2nd was a girl since my pregnancy was different - but no. Good thing because we had decided on a boys name but could never agree on a girls name ;).

Hi natebenma,
I made another SAB map for you to use in this thread, I cleaned it up a bit and added some additional info, if there is anything else you would like to see added to it let me know.

Wow, skelooch, that is a great map!!! I like so many things about it, including how it shows that the zero depth entry is not connected to the deeper section, which seems to be a common misunderstanding on other threads about SAB. It really highlights so many features!

When we were there Feb. 7-13 and I was completing my photo missions, I went to take a photo of the playground . . . and it was gone! I asked a CM about it and he said they wanted to fit more lawn chairs in that space and removed the playground. I was really disappointed because the playground was great for our pre-schooler. Thought you might want to know for the map.

What a great map! We can't wait to get back there in May. I have a lot of reading to do before I catch up on this thread.

Teena...hope all goes well with your tests.

Hi Teena,

Best wishes for a speedy recovery! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October, had surgery in January and am now doing chemotherapy. As a previous poster mentioned, once you have a plan in place you will feel much better.

Maybe I will see you at BC next week when I check in with my family for a much needed vacation.
