Well we had to switch to a standard view cl room today in order to get the 30% discount. Absolutely no gv cl, lv cl or even deluxe cl rooms with the discount for that time frame.

Now Teena DO NOT LET THEM CHANGE THOSE GREAT SV ROOMS TO GV ROOMS until after July 31! We loved our room last year, and I would have thought that was a gv room now - turns out it's a sv!

Of course I'm still hoping that when the AP rates come out we can switch categories then. Definitely seems a lot more restrictive on booking categories available this time. We even tried switching to YC but the same thing - only sv cl rooms available.

Wish us luck - now I can obsess for months about whether I'll be looking at a parking lot or a roof for 15 nights! Aggghhhhhhh!

You guys make me laugh so much AND IT HURTS TO LAUGH!!!

I'm doing much better today and have much more energy. Bob is keeping me locked down ... he threatens to not let me go to work Sunday if I don't behave up until then.

I feel very bad for everyone that is at WDW during the last few days. What horrible storms we have had. Very unusual. One of our guests that comes for two months every winter (they've become very close friends since they practically live there) said in all the years they have been there, they have never seen anything like those two days of storms we had. I have to agree except for 2004 and Hurricane Charley, Frances and Jeanne.

Jeanne had her baby doctor appointment yesterday and is doing great. "Peanut" is doing good and has become very active. Jeanne is anxious to get to Florida for spring break - she arrives 4/16. She has 3 things on her must do list: (1) Typhoon Lagoon (wants to spend the day in a tube on the lazy river with her Mom); (2) dinner at Cape May; and (3) dinner at Ohana's. Since the parks are going to be horribly crowded that week and we (CMs) are blocked out, it's a good thing she doesn't want to do parks all week long! Bob is convinced she's having a girl and I have visions of little blond girls in princess dresses every time he mentions Peanut being a girl. Jeanne still refuses to know the sex.

Teena, I am so happy you got some great news! I hope your feeling better, and like everyone else mentioned get some rest! We appreciate all that you do on this thread and hope for your quick return to our beloved beach club! Hope you'll be back in time for our trip in 2 months!

Feeling kinda left out of the BC end of July group - we're at the YC CL GV 7/19-28.

Hope we'll meet up at SAB! Travelling with 2 girls, 5 and 10. They'd love to meet/play with kids their own ages.

I noticed that no one has listed a stay at the YC for this time. Wonder why? My family actually preferred the YC over the BC last year - so we're back.

Down to about 108 days. I can't wait.

Have any of you done a portrait session at the BC? I actually just called in to book ours for June. I got some mixed info from the IPO, they told me they could only do reservations 30 days in advance and wanted me to call them and give a CC# for the deposit and they would book it the end of April/Beginning of May. I happened across the sticky on Disboards about them and had heard they changed the whole thing and now it could be booked a year in advance! I decided to call myself and find out and Disboards was correct!! So I booked the first shoot of the day at 7:30am, hopefully we will beat the super sun and my 2 year old will be in a good mood after breakfast!

IPO has been great to us otherwise, I mean they got us ADRs we couldnt find availability for, but I was a little disappointed that they didn't know about the change!

Thank you for pointing me in their direction. I posted the question and Erika was kind enough to quickly give me a "Big Yes" response!!!

I feel so bad that their trip was filled with rain, but maybe she will also take advantage of the Bounceback and start planning the next trip!!

Sorry I didn't answer this before. The "bounceback clock" is in every room at the Y&B and the BCV. If you don't have one in your room, call housekeeping and ask for one to be delivered to your room!

My Mom went through chemo almost 2 years ago now...and she was so tired for so long. It was sad and scary for us, and it depressed her so much. But she got through it and has been feeling great and it's almost hard to remember how tough things were. It seemed endless at the time, but it's done now. I know it's tough, but don't push yourself. Take your time to rest and relax and get better. You not only need it, but you deserve it!



Resort Items: Hmmmm....wonder if I could get someone to get me a t-shirt so I could get excited for our future planned trip which is still well over a year away.

Don't feel left out! Last year we had a wonderful Mini-Dis Meet for BC and YC Dissers. It was wonderful - hopefully we'll be able to have another one this year. We prefer BC a little bit more, but still love YC too!

We've done the portrait session three times, once at BC. We did it at BC in 2008 when we did our Grand Gathering. We did it around 6:30 at night and it was wonderful. We had four generations so those pictures are priceless!
