2011/2012 Reunion Cruise?

We are doing Alaska with Brack and I just bought the airline tickets to Barcelona for the TA WB. We are thinking about booking a 2011 on the Dream while we are onboard on TA. We will see how the $$ is.

Same here as we'll see what the fee will be for the Dream while on the TA.

We're "officially" booked on the Disney Dream!!!!!

After poor Bill spent over an hour on hold this morning, he got us on the Thanksgiving 2011 cruise departing on November 23, 2011. That is our Anniversary. So, the cruise was meant to be!!!

Yahoo!!!! I will admit, I am usually an uber-planner and have most everything packed by now. However for this trip, I haven't even pulled out our beloved Mickey-headed suitcases yet. Also, usually I do a Pre-Trip Report. I just can't get into it. I don't know what is wrong with me? The whole family needs this vacation like you would not believe. Bill has been working so hard lately. Speaking of Bill, he has been in Washington state all week on business. I pick him up from the airport tonight!!!!! At least one person in our family has been sick for the past two months (that is NOT an exaggeration). Bill and Will are still on inhalers. We are all ready to head east for some holiday cheer. WDW is just what the doctor ordered. I finally broke down and told Will's and Emily's teachers they would be absent the first week of December (11/30 - 12/4). Not to brag, both children are doing excellent in school (I just got their report cards yesterday). So, the teachers were fine with their absences. To be honest, if they weren't doing well in school, we probably wouldn't be taking them out for a week. There's always a discussion thread somewhere on the DISboards regarding this topic and it can get heated.

Also, my Mom is moving out of our house tomorrow. Double Yahoo!!! She closed on her new house yesterday. The moving truck from Virginia arrives on Saturday (tomorrow). It has been nice having her here. But, I know she is ready for her own space. She has been staying is Will's room while he sleeps in Cole's room in one of the bunk beds. Will is also ready for his bed back.

We still haven't received an email regarding our DAP credentials. However, I did receive our Magical Express envelope in the mail yesterday. I am soooooooo relieved that Will and Emily are able to stay with their classmates while we are gone. That was my biggest worry. Also, my Mom agreed to watch them for the weekend until we get back Sunday night. (I guess that was the least she could do since she has been living here rent free since August and we didn't once ask her to babysit. I just didn't feel it was right to take advantage while she was with us. However, once she moves into her own home ... Emily has already planned many weekends away at Grandma's. She's Grandma's little princess.) I booked Kid's Nite Out to watch Cole while Bill and I are at the seminar on Friday. I hope to maybe squeeze in a lunch with just Bill too before we head back to POFQ and get Cole. The DAP plan is coming together.

I checked the crowd predictor on TouringPlans.com and it has "8's" for the whole week of Thanksgiving. Yikes!!! Now, I really am glad we are heading to Daytona Beach on Thanksgiving Day. With the holidays come a lot of first time WDW travelers. It will be nice to get away from all the chaos.

Our Daytona Beach hotel is going to have an ocean-front view. I can't wait to wake-up in the morning with the sights of the ocean.

We're staying at the Hilton Daytona Beach Resort/Ocean Walk Village. I would love some dining suggestions.

We like Inlet Harbor for outdoor dining on the water, they are down near the lighthouse, well marked by signs. If you dine outside ask for bread they serve it with key lime butter.
For yummy Italian food and great, great garlic bread...Mario's, it is on Yonge St south of Granada on the east side of the street. Those are our two most favorite.
Park's is good, I think it is on Beach street north of downtown, across the street from the Intercoastal Waterway.
Good burgers at Charlie Horse's on N Altalnic, but it is more bar-like, not sure with the kids.

Hey Everyone!!! Just got back last night from 9 wonderful days at WDW. It was one of the best vacations we have been on. The crowds were great!! The longest waits we had were TSM and Soarin. We couldn't have asked for a better time to go. Robby also surprised me and let me get tickets for MVMCP!! It was awesome!! As soon as we get all our pictures processed, we will give you guys a link.

Bill was in Washington state on business last week. He has been sick with bronchitis and has a very peristent cough. After a coughing fit, he heard a "Snap!" He was in a little pain, but thought nothing of it. When he got home, he was in more pain. So, he went to the doctor. They did an x-ray and he has a fractured rib. Yep, he coughed so hard he fractured his rib. He is soooooooo bummed! He loves RNR, EE, ToT, SM and all the other thrill rides. But, he won't be able to ride them this trip. At least maybe he'll actually get to "relax" on his vacation.

Wow, sorry to hear about Bill's injury. That is some serious coughing! We walked on all the rides at the MVMCP last night - even before they closed the park to everyone else! Weather is great. We had our waterproof windbreakers, which came in handy on Splash Mt, but other than that it was very mild.

We really love OKW! We have a studio near the main pool, and just spent some time out there. We're going to cleanup and head over to EPCOT in a little bit, and then probably DTD after Illuminations.

That is painful! I have coughed so hard in the past that I separate my breast bone where the ribs connect. You can hardly breathe. Tell him to behave!

We played the Kim Possible game at EPCOT last night. It was so much fun - lots of fun surprises!! It's great for all ages.
