I'm home ... two hours ago. It was amazing. I sent (via my phone this morning) some pictures to MM. Hopefully she'll post them since you all know I don't know how to get something from the phone to here.

You'll all be proud of me. I wore Disney Cruise Line t-shirts every day!!!

We really enjoyed Celebrity and booked a 14 nighter for next January. However, it's not Disney!! Bob insists on doing something different once a year so that's why we go on Celebrity. There were only 21 kids on that huge ship!!

"Welcome Home" Teena!!! :) So glad you had a super time! Can't wait to see the pics! Wowwie on a 14-nighter! That's going to be awesome!!!

Hi there... I'm a newbie so please forgive me. Anyhow, I just realized that the Yacht Club does not have a quick service restaurant. When we stayed at the Contemporary years ago it was nice to run down and grab some breakfast (cereal and such) and bring it back to the room. Is there anywhere nearby that we can do this (even if it requires going to the swan or somewhere within walking distance)? I saw that the Beach Club has the Marketplace, will that suffice?
Thanks in advance!!

The BC Marketplace is a short walk from the YC... I do believe there's still also quick breakfast offerings in the Ale & Compass lounge just off the YC lobby with items such as bagels, pastries, cold cereal, etc....

Welcome Home, Teena! Looking forward to the photos! By the way, we're a little sad this weekend, as last year at this time, we were heading to BC! What a great welcome we received in the lobby from you, Mom and Bret!

msdroz, we love BC Marketplace! Here's the link to photos that we BC fans have taken of the Marketplace over the past year or so: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2732402.

(My photos are getting old - must return!)

Welcome back Teena. Glad you had a great trip.

Weather was perfect every day. We went on an excursion on a ferry and went from the Atlantic to the Pacific through the Panama Canal. It was so fascinating. I crossed it off my bucket list!

I can officially ask to be added to the guest list!! :woohoo: I finally convinced DH to take a trip in May for my birthday! :yay: :yay: We're planning Disneyland in Nov, so we were going to skip WDW this year but I just couldn't do it. :lmao: We have both been having several months of stressful projects at our jobs & helping our DD as she goes thru a divorce, so by May, we're really going to need a break.

I usually start my planning 9 -12 months out but I just pulled it all together in 2 days! Spent all day booking flights, hotel & our ADRs. I was so excited I didn't wait to have IPO do the ADRs. :rotfl2:

Our dates are May 15- 19 lagoon view club level. I actually considered a split stay with Grand Floridian main building, but I knew doing only 2 nights in each would be crazy, not relaxing!!

Teena - WELCOME HOME!!! Sounds like a fabulous trip.

Here is something wierd about Cape May Buffet. Even though they are not booking dinners for 7/9 - 8/4 I was able to book a breakfast for the end of July. I wonder if that was just a mistake (letting me book it) or if they are going to use Ariel's as a character breakfast.

Another thing I was wondering - if they aren't offering a breakfast at CMB maybe they would go back to offering the breakfast at Beaches and Cream like they did in 2010?

Welcome back Teena!!! Sounds like you had a great time!

It would make sense to use Ariel's for breakfast while refurbing CM. Guests love having easy Character Breakfast access while staying at yC/BC.

I will miss enjoying the Evening Clam Bake - DH and DD didn't take the news with a smile.

The pictures of Teena's Celebrity Cruise are UP!

Go to this link to see them: http://www.flickr.com/photos/65481501@N06/sets/72157629161959367/

Note: I could not get the texts Teena sent to forward to my email account properly, I think because that email account is the email account for the phone and it wouldn't let me send them to myself.... so I could not copy paste text into some of the pictures.

Here is a link to Teena's Panama canal video:

Since it's from a phone the video is low resolution..

So there ya go!

In the pictures you'll see Teena's Butler Boris, Bob in a Bathrobe (SEXY!!) and Teena with her first prize trophy for winning a slots tournament! :cool1:

Welcome back!

I was going to ask you what you thought of cruising for 11 nights. I guess since you booked 14 nights for your next one it wasn't enough!;) haha! Where is the next cruise destination?

Thanks for posting this MM.

Teena, you and Bob look so relaxed. Your stateroom was huge!

Looks like you had an awesome time. How great is that balcony? Can't wait to hear about it.

Sounds like "Mother overload" to me. :sad2:

People, we might have to do an intervention and stage a rescue mission....Whose in? :thumbsup2

~MM
PS. I'll bring the rope, the Tequilla and the chocolate. We'll need somebody to bring the limes, salt and the handcuffs.... Oh, and bacon... we always can use BACON!!!

I love bacon. Our work potluck for the holidays had chocolate covered fried bacon! It was so yummy and one of the first things gone!:rotfl:

Welcome back! Glad it was a great trip. We cruised with Celebrity for our Honeymoon and it was the same on our ship, almost no kids. Though Princess Cruises in Alaska was even less. I was 20 at the time and there were 12 of us under the age of 21 on the ship. Can't wait to see the pictures :banana::banana:
