Hi everyone,

I've read page 1 and I did not find the answer to this question anywhere.

Are Pool Noodles allowed to pool hop?

We are members of the "Pool Noodle Vacation Club" but there doesn't seem to be a rule book anywhere that we can find. I know people that belong to the Disney Vacation Club are allowed to pool hop. Why shouldn't it be the same for Pool Noodles?

Just Wondering.... or 'wandering' if it's legal.

Paul Noodle

Yes, noodles may Hop! (Skipping and Jumping is permitted as well)

As long as all of this takes place at Stormalong Bay or one of the BC/YC/BCV quiet pools.

Does that answer your question?

Thanks Natebenma I just sent an email and will keep ya posted when I receive a reply about purchasing merchandise from Yacht Club :)

Yes and Yes.

There are some (6) Deluxe Rooms, also considered Concierge that are on different floors, but I think all of the rest of the CL rooms are on the 5th.

Okay, thanks! So if I wanted a higher up room (we are just booked in a standard garden view room), would I ask for something on floor 4?

I didn't know your boys were into vinylmation. Have you been to the store at DTD? Someone posted pictures on their trip report (I think it was mickeystoontown) and I couldn't believe the structures they made out of them!

Yes! Vinylmation Park Series #1 was released in December, 2008 and our oldest son's first vinylmation purchase was at the store near Splash Mountain in February, 2009. So he has three from Park Series #1! Over the past three years, they've collected over 100 all together. The trading got crazy - we had to establish intra-family rules regarding trading so that we didn't have any fights at the trading locations! Part of the reason that I can get so many photos of the Epcot resort area is that I go with the boys from BC Marketplace to Fittings and Fairings to Poolside Gifts to the Screen Door General Store so they can trade. We leave my husband in the club lounge and we go on a vinylmation trading / photo mission. Of course, the selection in the clear and mystery boxes can turn over multiple times per day, so they always like to check back! Teena may recall that our oldest was trading at BC Marketplace right up to the moment we boarded Magical Express last year.

We've been to the Vinylmation stores in DTD at both WDW and DL. It's always a good spot because the boys find fellow traders there. Our oldest is a relatively outgoing trader and will talk with others about what he has to trade, what they have to trade, etc. and he has the best luck at the DTD stores!

So if anyone has questions about BC/YC/BWI vinylmation trading, just let us know! The pins would be SO much easier to carry! :)

We moved and I have NO IDEA where the kids' lanyards are with all their Disney pins from our last trip! I thought I knew, but I went looking the other day and no go. One more place to look and then I'll be totally ticked off if they aren't there...

So, maybe some pins and Vinylmations are a good idea for the welcome baskets????

Well to be honest we were thinking more in line with something like the Bellagio in Vegas. Pastina and the kids were interested in a winter get-a-way and once they got a gander at those fountains they were hooked. I will break the news to them.

Thanks,
Paul

Good luck getting a pin code at the Bellagio! :thumbsup2

I can understand your interest in the Bellagio. I hear they have an excellent Pasta Bar. If you are into that sort of thing. Getting sauced and all that...

My sweet baby Emma.

What a beautiful dog! You must miss her greatly, but so nice that you have the good memories.

OMG - I just noticed we are officially under 2 months away!

I've had a brutal week at work which is why I haven't been joining in the conversations.

Here's hoping for quieter days ahead so that I can get back into the Dis in preparation for our stay at the YC.

Bellagio is beautiful. Have a safe trip and try not to gamble too much!

Bumping this question up. KB, if nobody knows here, I bet you could find the answer on the Theme Park forum (but I hate sending you elsewhere for info)

I've tried to discern a pattern for the main events at WDW (F&G, F&W, MNSSHP, MVMCP, CP & OL) and have started a thread asking for advice here - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2860154

The best I can tell is that MVMCP & Osborne Lights start one week after the end of MNSSHP. MNSSHP ends on November 1st so it's fairly safe to say the OL show starts around November 8th. It also appears that OL ends the Tuesday after New Year's day. Hope that helps.

Good luck to your Saints this weekend. Should be a Brees getting past those 49ers. And yes, I'll be rooting for the Broncos on Saturday evening. A HEX on all you Brady fans. But then, I've been a Browns fan all my life so I know what pain and suffering is all about.

And I bet that Paul would enjoy the show at Treasure Island more than the fountains of Bellagio. Ahoy there ye scurvy rats!

At the risk of getting the football smack-talk started, I don't think it is tough to figure out who I'll be rooting for tonight!

I wouldn't mind seeing pixarmom's Aaron Rodgers up against Tom Brady on February 5!

Jay, if you are going to tonight's game, bundle up!

Katesdad, Sorry about the Browns. I have to tell you that one of my son's Christmas presents this year was a Peyton Hillis jersey.

The last time Pastina and I got 'sauced' we were on our honeymoon in Italy. The tour bus stopped in Bologna and an elderly, senile, Italian babushka started chasing us around with a pot of marinara....

It was awkward to say the least as Pastina tried unsuccessfully to explain to her that we were POOL noodles and not those... other kind.

Oh, we are not gamblers, unless you count Ramen and his lack of study habits in school. I figure we'll do some sightseeing and Pastina wants to do some shopping. I am a big Wayne Newton fan so I would like to see him before he keels over for good. Penne wants to do some sort of bungee jumping thing but I can't for the life of me (or her) see how they would fit her with a harness. Finally, Ramen has it in his mind that he wants to see where the mob buries it's bodies in the dessert. I keep telling that boy to stop watching so many gangster movies but he doesn't listen. The other day he was googling the TSA to see if you could carry on a shovel, (NO, you can't!).

And I bet that Paul would enjoy the show at Treasure Island more than the fountains of Bellagio. Ahoy there ye scurvy rats!

That is definitely on our list. We will just have to tie Ramen down so he doesn't jump on the ship and join in wielding a shovel.

Danke Schoen,

Paul
