Mike- thanks for the YC merchandise pics!! (But boohoo that there isn't a coffee mug )

pixarmom- I guess I am the opposite that I would do CL, even for the 2 of you (but still get a Cape May breakfast in there too so the little one can get a character fix!). DS8 and I did CL last year and it was great to have the lounge in the AM when sleepy didn't want to get moving and head out for breakfast before the parks. We also took great advantage of the snacks to bring to the pool. And the evening stuff cut our dinner bills WAY down since we had appy's there and ate much smaller dinners out. And, of course, quick and easy access to coffee in the AM for Mommy while he was still sleeping...just some food for thought

Snakes- We had a small garden one up here once and DH grabbed it by the tail to take it to the field and away from the house, all the while doing his best Crocodile Hunter voice about "Grabbing it by her tail, and boy, she is cranky..." Luckily we have NEVER seen one at WDW.

Feckless- Hope everyone is having a better AM at your house. (Hockey sounds like an outstanding distraction to me!)

Dee and MM, you are cracking me up! And believe me, I need a laugh today. Our precious 14 1/2 year old doggie died today. I am devastated but am sick to my stomach waiting for the kids to come home to tell them. They are going to be completely torn to pieces. They adore the dog.

Send some positive thoughts my way, if you have any to spare.

How did it go? We had a similar situation with our two dogs. DD was so upset, but trust me, time heals.

One question that I cant seem to find an answer to - can you bring your own beer to SAB?

Snow day today - school was cancelled so we got a freebie. The kids said Emma sent the snow to help them heal. Awwwwww...

Love the YC merchandise! Can't wait to see the BC stuff.

Robyn and Cinderumbrella, thanks so much for the additional thoughts regarding CL and breakfast - very helpful! So I decided not to decide now. I made a Captain's Grille ADR for breakfast for now, but Cape May is still available and so is YC GV CL. And Robyn, I really appreciate the room request recommendation, too.

Mickey T., love the photos - nice work!!! We've purchased very few resort-specific items in the past (just a couple t-shirts for the older boys at WL in 2006.) But the YC merchandise looks great - especially the kids' t-shirts!

One of Mike's missions during his recent Marathon trip was to scope out the YC Resort Merchandise. As you will see, he done good!

Mike- was this all at Fittings and Fairings, the YC gift shop?

We still haven't heard an ETA on BC stuff.

Bought myself Disneyland for Kinect so I'm going to say sod the housework and play that with the kids all afternoon! Looking forward to battling Captain Hook!

We have been having so much fun with that game! But we are terrible at just walking around perhaps because there are 2 of us playing? If someone wouldn't have rushed through the intro in the beginning, perhaps we would have learned the secret Enjoy your snow day!

As Feckless advises, the answer is YES. As long as it is not in a bottle or other glass. You can pour into a plastic cup and I think you could have a can there, but I don't know for sure.

I'm secretly hoping for a snow day tomorrow. I have to teach a class on quill pens, and I have never used one before. The ink scares me. I have one at home to practice with, but I keep putting it off to play here.

I guess my wishes are out in the open now. So advance apologies for any snow storms in the northeast tomorrow.

Glad I am down in the area of the state which is currently under an all rain prediction. If snow shows up, I will be cursing you! I have less than a week left in this air cast and I've been so lucky that I haven't had to deal with snow since wearing it. I don't want it to happen now.

I just opened up the ink to practice and it is dried out! I hope there is enough "good" ink. Another teacher did this class today. I have to give her a call.

That should teach me not to procrastinate. But it won't!

Thank you for all the info on the BC, I will be using some of the info you posted!

This summer (Aug 21-30) will be the third time I take my kids to WDW. The only 2 times we have visited, we stayed at SOG and POP. My kids really want to stay at BC due to Stormalong Bay, so this will be our first foray into Disney Deluxe.

I have never changed a reservation. I don't have free dining or any discount right now, but if I see one of these discounts for that time, can I just call and have them apply (if available) the free dining or other discount to my current reservation?

That will work!! Make sure you specify north of the Mass Pike, since we know that the highways in this state are the rain/snow line.
