We've been here since early 2004 and I saw ten times more snakes in Pennsylvania than I've seen here at our house (huge field and lake across the street from us) and at WDW. I remember once when I was on the riding lawn mower in Pennsylvania and a huge snake came out from under some brush. I totally panicked and drove the lawn mower into a tree. Bob mowed the lawn after that. Smart move on my part!
Teena! OMG! You drove the riding mower into a tree - sounds like something I'd do! What part of PA? I'm in NE PA, and we have a ton of snakes around here. It hasn't warmed me up to them at all.

. Their hearts are broken but I think we handled it as well as we could. They have smiled and laughed tonight, and we have all cried a lot as well. I'm keeping them home from school in the morning just to grieve and get their heads on straight. We have box seats with food and drink for the local AHL hockey team tomorrow night so that should perk them up a bit.

I am devastated but am sick to my stomach waiting for the kids to come home to tell them. They are going to be completely torn to pieces. They adore the dog.
