One question for YC veterans...how late does SAB stay open?

Arrived at the Beach Club today and I'm amazed! Such a beautiful resort, pictures don't do it justice! Loved the room, we have a full balcony, with a lovely view of trees, oh well. Had a quick dinner at Hurricane Hannas, food was good. We checked out the Stormalong Bay, gingerbread carousel and the Marketplace, got our refillable mugs, and now we are back in the room unpacking. Thinking about heading down to Beaches and Cream in a little bit to attempt the Kitchen Sink. Also need to find a December activity schedule, anyone know where to obtain one, the one in my check in packet is for November.

Picture doesn't do it justice. It's bright orange, not red - darn camera! And I replaced my yellow Aveo with this Chevy Sonic. Aveos are no longer available so I got the new Sonic. First one my dealer got and he knew I wanted yellow or orange so when the Aveo needed major maintenance to keep it going, I knew it was meant to be that I buy the Sonic instead of getting the Aveo fixed.

Hey Teena…Love the car. When you said you were getting a Sonic I had no idea what you were talking about. I like that.

And love the LillyFootin photo. She is really growing.

I can't wait to see Lily!! Tuesday I'll be there for four days. This week is flying by and I'm working Saturday, Sunday and Monday and then flying out real early Tuesday morning and back Saturday night (so I won't miss any work). That foot picture is so funny ... boy she sure has big feet - takes after Jeanne! When Jeanne was born, all the nurses in the hospital kept talking about how big her feet were.

Can't wait to see you ... won't be long now!

P.S. Our good friend, Fred, named my car the Pumpkin-mobile.

One question for YC veterans...how late does SAB stay open?

Hi kimberwee- unfortunately, there are no regular closing hours for SAB. The closing time can vary based on time of year, weather, crowd conditions, etc. Your best bet is to check with the lifeguards when you arrive. Some guests have even reported getting different information on closing time from the front desk and the lifeguards.

My guess is that SAB would be open until 10 in May, but this is only a guess. I have only been in July, and I don't even know what time the pool closed while we were there.

P.S. Our good friend, Fred, named my car the Pumpkin-mobile.

My husband's first car, when he was in high school, was an orange VW station wagon. We called it the pumpkin-mobile!!!

I just cleared a little space.

I have mentioned on previous threads that I am an electronic pack rat. I hate deleting messages because one of them may have info I need (and many of them do).

No comment about the 10,431 messages in my email inbox-
Drives my husband crazy!!! Surprisingly, I am able to find messages when I want to.

We can certainly add you to the noodle swap. No guarantees that the Noodles will still be around then (we have already lost one to bluer pastures), but then again, I am shocked that they made it all the way to December!

I just came back from DTD and bussed both ways. It wasn't bad at all. Actually all my bussing experiences have been good. I think I am going to cab to 'Ohana tomorrow though. It might allow me a few more minutes of ZZZZ

Saw Teena again in the lobby on Monday but she is just so darn popular! I will have to comfort myself with Lily's footie pic and turn down pillow chocolates!

I know it gets cold in Canada and all that extra fur helps, but good God woman! You're in Florida for Pete's sake!!

It is well known on these boards that I have a fascination with the Little Mermaid toys, especially since Penny and I shared them while she was growing up. Just because the kids get older and don't want to play Little Mermaid anymore doesn't mean that I have to grow out of it! It's not like I went all in during Penny's Hello Kitty craze so I am some what choosy....

Now Pastina was always trying to play Star Wars wedding with Ramen, but due to the dearth of female characters things could get a little interesting when making up the bridal party. Star Wars figures "Dance Parties" were much easier to throw and Han Solo could do a mean robot.

Any chance you'll still be there on Saturday? They talked me into an extra day. I'm not popular ... I just happen to know where all the 12 hidden Mickeys are on the carousel so that's why people are talking to me ... they want hints.

How about if you tug on your ear lobe, like Carol Burnett used to do. You wouldn't look like a lunatic doing it and it would get the point across that you are saying hi when Teena is busy with some one else...
