I apologize as I'm sure this has been answered before but I have the little boy I take care of with me and got to make this fast! We just came back from a great, great week at GF. And of course before that trip was over we started talking about the next! We are down to 2 GF again or BC. Quick bus question, when going to either MK or AKL does the bus stop at Boardwalk as well and Swan and Dolphin? or just Yacht Club? Convenience is a biggie as we have a son with special needs and try to make our life as simple as possible! Thanks for answering.

It may depend on the time of year. I have only been to the BC in July, twice and in all of our trips from BC to MK and AK (not the lodge), the bus has gone directly from BC to the parks. This is always first thing in the morning (8 AM, EMH), so not sure if time of day matters.

What are others' experiences?

When we were there in July, we stopped at BW on the way to MK (am EMH too!) and we could barely fit anyone on. We were suppose to stop at Swan/Dolphin, but the driver radioed in that we were not able to.
It seemed to me that typically, and especially when not super crowded, the bus was going to stop at BW and S/D on the way to MK.
I can't say for AK, we did not take the bus there this time.

I guess it really does depend on the time of year. Still we had dinner there on the Friday before we left and we really have wanted to try it. Gosh the decisions I have to make!

I know that the staff are pretty strict about non-hotel guests using SAB but would they although a solitary baby (4 months old) in with hotel guests?

Well, the baby would not have a KTTW card, which is what they want to see to allow people to get the wristband.
Does the parents' KTTW card normally show whether there is an infant in the party? If not, I would think they would allow the infant in without "proof" of the baby staying at BC.

My 2 year old didn't have his own room key or park ticket and he swam at SAB. I doubt it would be a problem.

2 weeks ago, our buses (except dme) went to the final destination after BC. Coming back to BC, they were always S&D, YC, and BC. We usually got off at the Swan, and walked from there.

With the cooler days and nights recently has the pool temp dropped much? We were there in Aug. and it was plenty warm, has it gotten a lot colder. Teena could you stick your toes in for us?

I'd love to but I'm not on the schedule.

The pool is always heated ... it should be fine. Today we are expecting temps in the mid-80's.

We were just there in October - I think it matters most the time of day. They had a CM out there in the morning and that person would ask where you were going and tell you how long to expect to wait in the morning.
The transportation CM suggested that first thing in the AM the buses went directly to the park, but in the late morning and afternoon they would make the circle around to each of the other Epcot area resorts.
MK buses seemed to be more frequent than the others - but that could just be perception.

So it was in the evening when we were returning that we had the most crowded buses.

For some reason, I did not read this thread (or its predecessor) since my DW and I made our reservations for BC for our anniversary trip, even though I did some research here before we decided on the resort for this trip. Thanks so much, though, for all the information here. I am trying to absorb as much of it as I can before we leave tomorrow morning. I love seeing all the enthusiasm for the place.

This is a really odd question, and Teena may be the only one who knows this...but:

What is the AMAZING air freshener/ Scent used in the Beach Club. My Husband and I loved walking into the Lobby each night...it smelled AMAZING!
