Looking at some of the satellite photo views (one of my favorite tools for figuring out stuff about WDW), it looks like the Yacht Club parking lot is quite a bit smaller than the Beach Club lot, even when you consider that the BC has more rooms because of the villas.
I'm curious if any YC guests have experienced parking shortages? I'm there next week (yay), during a slower time of year.
Also, it looks like if the lot were full, it's possible to drive straight into the BC lot without going out and around through the guard shack, or needing to raise an arm with a key card. Can anyone confirm that this is indeed the case?
Many thanks.
The BCV has their own guest parking lot. The BC has their own guest parking lot (across from the bus stop). The YC has a large parking lot by the convention center. It is plenty large enough. Both the BC and the YC have valet parking lots too. To enter any of the parking lots, you must go by a guard's shack. There are other entrances but you can't go through them as they have arms and even a guest key will not open them. There is also a parking lot for CMs on the other side of the road. During the F&W Festival, they are even more strict about letting guests come in and park. They print out the list of reservations at the restaurants and if you aren't on that list or staying at one of our resorts, you can't come in and park there.
