2010 Trip planners, unite!!!

We have PLENTY of food on just the regular dining plan. To us, for the $40 a day (or so) difference between the plans..if you need an extra snack/meal whatever, just buy it ala cart. For the most part, except for a few random times, the regular dining plan was plenty. Plus, we don't want to spend all day eating to have all those credits!!!

The Contemporary isn't all DVC. So you can definitely book MK view. I am jealous, I am hoping to be able to do that someday. Sounds like a dream vacation!!!

Thank you for that! CR is my dream resort....I just HAVE to get there....but I can not justify nearly 10K for a 16 night stay....I only get to Disney every 2 years so I am not willing to cut the trip short....so POP it is. I do enjoy POP very much so not a total lost...I am at DISNEY...there is no such thing right... Hubby did say we could do CR for our vow renewal Disney wedding and Disneymoon!

And I plan to HOLD him to it LOL

Count me in. Our 2nd anniversary in Dec 29. We are trying to decide if we want to use points for Dec 29th to Jan 1 at the Swan and then move over to Dis hotel for the following week. Otherwise, we will probably wait until the second week in Jan. I was diagnosed with cancer in Jan '09 so this trip is greatly anticipated because it is going to be a grueling year.

My thoughts and prayers are with you for a complete recovery, Sherry. I live right outside of Mechanicsburg so I'm not too far away. Sending your way!

We (my DH, myself, DD, SIL, 2 DGDs, 1 DGS) along with my twin sister and her daughter and family are planning on a GG in May 2010 to celebrate my DGD's 7th birthday. We will be staying a OKW (home resort) for about 8 days. My DH & I are "bouncing back" this Sept. and staying at BWI.

Hoping time flies for all of us!

Thanks MariaEller. Hi Checkers... we actually live in Shiremanstown so we are neighbors. If you see a bandana lady at Turkey Hill near the Windsor Park strip mall getting gas it is probably me. Things are looking good. The doctors tell me I have a very good prognosis and I just know I am going to be fine. I am so looking forward to Disney. I love visitng the Mouse and it is giving me something fun to think about and plan. Thank you both for your prayers. They mean alot to me.

I'd like to share my best wishes as well. I'm in Enola PA so not far either.

We have just begun to plan our next trip for April 2010. Our original plan was to do a 12 day December trip but with this economy....no go. Sooo in order to get there we've been crunching numbers. We still are hoping for CR CL, MK view but will only be going for 7 days and not much dining out. It'll be just grabbing a bite here and there or eating off site. I'll have a lap-band by then so the dining plan wouldn't have worked anyway.

I just can't wait to go back! It'll be our 4th trip but no kids this time. Our oldest got married last year and our youngest will be in college. Just a romantic trip for 2. And, hopefully, I will have dropped enough weight by then to take the pressure off my feet - that means no scooter! - just walking hand in hand with my DH Now that's a vacation worth celebrating!

Hi Dawn - Thanks for the well wishes. Good luck with your surgery. We are in our mid
50's and no kids at home. So it is just DH and me going to Disney. We stayed at CR MK view when we were there last Dec. It was GREAT!! I would love to stay there again. We gave up some of the more expensive dining options we were considering and put our savings toward the room. It was well worth it. Let's hope for some super discounts for all of us in 2010. Happy planning everyone!!!! I always say planning is 1/2 the fun.

Guys..omg..all these PIN code offers and specials are KILLING ME!!! Disney is seriously torturing ME trying to convince us to go this year instead of 2010.

I just got a pin code in the mail. Again. I haven't had one in YEARS, and all of a sudden I get 2 in 4 months. Ugh. So just out of curiosity (since I love banging my head against the wall ) I called. I HOPE they have deals like this next year..I don't know..my son will be 10 though!!!

For 6 nights, 7 days..at POR, June 28-July 4 $2361 for 2 adults, 3 kids. UGH UGH UGH!!! Great deal!!! We just went to Disney last year, in 2008, and we are committed to only going every other year.... ugh..I want to go back so bad, Disney needs to stop torturing me with these PINs. I KNOW my son is turning 10 in 4 months, stop reminding me!!!

I have never been this early, will the xmas lights still be up??

Well my kids are now scheduled to perform the week of June 20, 2010 and the WHOLE family is wanting to go......its 4 families....so its gonna be a family trip to see the MOUSE!!...I am so excited and yes I want to plan early...and get everything set......I hope to be posting a lot more later!!

Wow! Count me in! We went to WDW for the first time this year and we were awestruck! So we're going again in March 2010 and can't wait. DD will be 12 and DS will be 18 months old. We're fortunate enough to have convinced my best friend and her 4 kids to come along. Yay! We'll be staying at CSR again. I love that place!!!!!!!!!!
