Great weather and the crowds are not bad at wall. You picked a great time to go. I wished we could go again during October but MEAP testing is during that time of year. Looking forward to picking the end of September begininng of October for free dining though (hopefully they still offer it!!!

Thanks!! We are going during our fall break. I wish it came earlier so I could get in on the free dining!

We are planning June 2010!! Star Wars Weekends here we come! I wanted to go this year, but DH and DS picked to go to South Padre...I would rather spend my vacation with a mouse!!!

We're planning our first family vacation at WDW for the end of January 2010, and I can hardly wait! My DH thinks I'm crazy to start planning so far in advance. It's so nice to know that I'm not the only one!

we made our first trip in December 2008 and had a fabulous trip. We couldn't usderstand before we went why people would go back year after year...now we do..

I'm hoping to go June 2010 not sure of the exact dates yet. I considered August for free dining if it is available but would have to go the first week of FD if dates coincide with this year and I'm afraid it would be too dang hot so........June it will be. I would love to stay at a Deluxe resort but just don't think it will fit in our budget since I am currently unemployed, besides DH said if I pick a moderate or value resort then we could stay longer. I keep telling myself....how long are we actually in the room anyway?? In 2002 my girls and I did CBR with ex-DH so I'm not sure I want to stay there again just because we've been there and done that. Stayed at POFQ July 2008 and like it just fine but me..........I like to try different things. Did ASMo in 2007. Oh dear decisions, decisions decisions do you guys have any suggestions? I'm hoping for at least 9 nights at either value or moderates. Youngest DD (14) has suggested a split stay, considered it but am still asking myself how much of a headache that would be???? DH wants to include DP again next time so I get to plan all those ADR's too!!!! I get to research menus and find new places to try....

Yeah....kinda in the same boat here with so many options. All the planning for the aborted 2009 trip will make this one a lot easier.

Summer 2010. ASMuFS, Villa, Mod? Don't know yet. With at least 8 going I will have to be flexible. My dad is a veteran so I might be working that angle and buy everything separate. Find a good room only deal and cheap tickets that way. Free dining is really not an option with 4 kids in school.

With Universal Harry Potter I might even try for a split stay. Just too many options but it will be diverting!

Much to the dismay of DH, I'm trying to plan a return trip for Spring Break 2010. Can't wait to see if our SB falls the same week as our BFF's... the week of 3/15-3/19. Again it will be over DS#2's b-day like this past year, but he is just always going to be lucky to have his b-days at Disney!

DH wants to do a 15 yr anniv trip sans kids, but that won't be until Nov. 2011. I can't wait that long! LOL Plus, we REALLY want to do Disney with our BFF's who have 2 boys the same age as our boys.

Since my trip & continued obsession with Disney, I've decided to become a travel agent, specializing in Disney... I'm hoping to get it all rolling this month. I keep telling DH that our trip next spring will be a tax write off... he keeps asking me how I plan to PAY for the trip. I told him "Let me get some stuff sold now, and I'll save all of my TA money for all of our Disney trips".

The rates come out around the 2nd week in August so I do believe that you would be able to book on line at that time.

Oh, Boy, do I need to update...

I posted back on page #3, just before I stayed at AKV for the first time...Loved it, BTW!

I had so much regret that we had so little time to spend at the resort that I was able to scrape together enough points to take another trip! Now, DH gets his first DVC stay in less than 2 months! We leave June 6!

This, along with a DVC "enhancement", affected our plans for 2010. We are still going over spring break and we are still taking my parents. We had to get a little creative with our points though. Our new plan is actually nicer.

We are getting 2 standard studios at Jambo for our first two nights. Then, we will switch to a standard 2BR at Kidani for the last 3 nights. We are going to add a DDP to the studio stay and eat out of the kitchen the rest of the week. This allows mom and dad to see both Jambo and Kidani in one trip and try out a DDP for the first time.

Oh...I can hardly wait! Only 25 more days until I can make the first part of the reservation!

Hi Sabrecmc,
I was trying to book our Jan 2010 vaca online and I ended up calling today and booked our room. They couldn't book our park tickets or dinning, but the room is all set! They said to call back around August to finish everything.

The CM that I spoke with also said that if any specials come out between now and then, I could call back and get the special price.

Oh my gosh, I'm thrilled I just found this site. We have decided to take our 8 year old February 2010. I want to mousavers and I'm am completely overwhelmed, there is soooooo much to learn and plan.

I contact the TA they recommend on the site (small world). I have learned that the rates, etc. for 2010 won't come out to June or July of this year. I've read some posts that said November 2009???? That would only give us 2.5 months before we leave. How do I do this?

We are undecided on how many days, maybe 4 or 5? I looked at the resorts, and although the value ones are in our price range, that Wilderness Lodge looks great!

Do you recommend the regular dining plan, the deluxe or platinum thingy? We do enjoy food, so I wouldnt' want to skimp there.

Feeling completely overwhelmed and afraid to make one wrong move. Any help or support would be appreciated. This is a one time trip for us, so I want it to be as perfect as possible.

Renting points and staying at BCV Jan 24-29 2010. Since DVC book at the 11 month mark those dates are all booked.

We're going to add two days at a moderate at the start of the vacation.

So our vacation will be Jan 22-29.

Can't wait.

Hi everyone......

We are planning for August 2010. I really really want a Magic Kingdom View room at the CR.....I have been out of the Disney loop for quite sometime so I am not even sure if this is at all possible.....is the CR still a regular resort or is it DVC now?

My kids LOVE PoP so they are hoping for that but... I just know once the see the view of a CR magic kingdom room they will fall in love....watching wishes everynight before bed....

Ahh I dont know what to do...we usually stay for 16 nights that will be the case here but DH won't do split stays....we have done this all before so I know all the details in terms of ADR's etc just cant narrow down dates and a resort....

We have PLENTY of food on just the regular dining plan. To us, for the $40 a day (or so) difference between the plans..if you need an extra snack/meal whatever, just buy it ala cart. For the most part, except for a few random times, the regular dining plan was plenty. Plus, we don't want to spend all day eating to have all those credits!!!

The Contemporary isn't all DVC. So you can definitely book MK view. I am jealous, I am hoping to be able to do that someday. Sounds like a dream vacation!!!
