2010 promo information is here! "Give a Day. Get a Disney Day."

A reminder: All of the official information and FAQs about this promotion are in the original post, which is updated as Disney puts out additional material or as visitors report experiences that answer other questions about the promotion.

No, it doesn't matter. It doesn't print on the vouchers, and somewhere I read (I think it was in the GAD FAQ's) that you don't have to go on the date that you put.

I figured this was the case but am glad to see for sure. Thank you!
Time to get to planning.

Hawleys - wow I'm so jealous you got to see Mickey and Minnie while you volunteered. I had no idea Disney is doing a tour for the GADGAD promotion...it must have been awesome :thumbsup2 I just got confirmation signing up for a habitat restoration project in San Francisco...doubt Mickey and Minnie will be there but I'll keep my fingers cross ;)

Just printed out our vouchers. Can't believe how simple and smoothly this has gone.

I have my date to volunteer set! Less than a month to go. I'm super excited. And it's something in the small town I live in, so it's extra special.

all the letters are there but two are reviresed.. hope it will be okay...

We used one of our vouchers to get the special fastpasses last weekend.
All four people in our party received the fastpasses. We each received a total of 6 passes, 3 for Daisy's favorites and 3 for Donald's favorites.

Daisy's Favorites:
Autopia
Big Thunder
Buzz Lightyear
Grizzly River Run
Mulholland Madness

Donald's Favorites:
Indiana Jones
Roger Rabbit
Space Mountain
Splash Mountain
California Screamin'
Soarin'
Tower of Terror

I believe these are exactly the same as the birthday promotion fastpasses from last year.

Thanks for posting. This is what we are planning for our trip in 4 weeks. One question, though. Was your FP valid for ALL of the listed rides (in BOTH parks) on the same day?

I've been waiting to get more info on these - thanks! Depending on ticket promotions this summer we may just go with these. Question for you though - does everyone in your party have to be present when you pick up the fastpasses?

Yes, they could be used for all of the listed rides in both parks. We only used our passes at Disneyland because our friends used their GAD tickets which are one park only.

Yes, everyone has to be present when you pick them up. The CM at the ticket booth scanned everyone's ticket media to make sure it was valid. In fact, they were a bit suspicious that our friends had GAD plastic tickets (like an AP pass or hopper) not paper ones. We were given the tickets immediately after volunteering because our volunteer event was one of Disney's promotional stops. The supervisor at the ticket booth said that Disneyland hasn't received their supply of plastic tickets yet.

So do you have to tell the CM which rides you choose? Or do you just get to use the Daisy pass 3 times at her favorite rides and that's it?

Thank you! I wasn't sure how they went about it. Now I know not to have someone else from my party standing in line for entry for us when I go pick them up.

You don't have to choose which rides when you pick up the passes. You get three paper passes which say "Daisy's favorites" on the top and list all of her favorites below. Just hand the pass to a CM at any of the rides. I have one left and will post a picture later today.

I received the email today from Disney telling me I could now print my ticket vouchers but when I go to the web site and click on "Print Voucher" next to the names of each team member it goes to another web page that is blank. It says that it is "Done" in the bottom left hand corner but there is nothing there. It doesn't seem to be a pop up blocker issue. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have a solution? Thanks!

I saw the info that you cant upgrade the ticket to the so cal park 2fer offers. Can you still upgrade it normally to a 2 day ticket at the normal price?

If so it wouldnt be very effective since it would cost over 70 to upgrade to a 2 day pass at the regular rates, when you could buy a 2fer ticket for less money.

I just wanted to make sure i was understanding it correctly. If anyone can confirm or deny this i'd appreciate it!:thumbsup2

Ooh! That would be great. I would love to see what they look like. TIA!!! :thumbsup2

*Change of plans* I just signed up for one for the kids & I ~ Diaper Wipes for Haiti, 10 packs of wipes minimum of 100 wipes per pack *per person. We'll drop them off this Sat. about 45 min. from our house - there weren't many options and none this easy very close to our home. I wonder if my kids will have to be with me when I drop them off, what do you think? I signed up for a board books one a few weeks ago, I never heard anything and there's no record of me signing up on the site??

**ETA ~ now we're participating in Project Linus ~ the wipes seemed expensive and too short of notice ~ I'd have to drop them off tomorrow. I can mail in the blankets - PL is actually further away than the wipes drop off is so I'm glad I can ship them. My kids will have fun tying fleece blankets ~ I'll probably crochet one as well.

Here is a pic of the fastpasses. Sorry for the poor quality, taken on my cell phone.

Awesome! Thanks for posting those pictures.
I just signed up to volunteer with "Operation Binky", making blankies for children in need. Hopefully I can sew quickly, I want my pins!

There aren't really opportunities in my area. How do I find the opportunities for making blankets? That would be fabulous - my daughter loves making things for people!
