Just popping in to say congratulations to those of you who are moving on to the third round!

For those of you who did not make it to the next round, please know you are all excellent candidates, and there is no reason to questions what you said or how you said it on your round 2 essays. I know I'd be honored to have any member of the DISboards on the panel with us. You guys are the wealth of information that helped many of us Moms Panelists gain the knowledge we have. There is no more qualified bunch of people than all of you.

I tried to figure out twitter so I could see what was going on and register so I could wish you all much pixie dust but all the @ and # symbols were very confusing and giving me a headache! Is there somewhere to read up on this? Maybe I can overlook them all after a while, but man, they were getting to me!!!

Congratulations to everyone moving forward! Unfortunately, I got the reject email that was recalled. It will be interesting to see if we get more info on what the deal was with that.

Although I am bummed about not making it to the next round, I got a phone call about an hour after the email that our DVC resale ROFR finally got through Disney's review (it took 45 days for the review which is way longer than usual). At least I got some good Disney news today!

Amanday Tinney, from DisneyEveryDay.com did not try out at all for the Moms Panel, but she was one of my biggest cheerleaders!

Amanda Rose (@AmandaMRose on twitter) was in round 2, is in Magic Kingdom right now, and did not make it through to round 3, she tweeted earlier tonight.

I, too, wonder how many are actually doing the phone interviews, I thought in the past it was double the available spots, right? So 20 for this year? I suppose they could do as many as they wanted though of course! I still have to check in with the "Hopefuls" facebook page too!

This has just been like a dream come true...since first hearing about the "Adventures of the Moms Panel" threads here, I read the stories of the Moms journeys unfold here on the DIS and I never ever thought I'd be a part of that history...I am so grateful for all of you guys accepting me and cheering *everyone* on!

Another weird thing, I checked out INTERCOT, Passporter and TMFL and there is only one other person reported moving on. Seven from DIS, 1 from INTERCOT, where are the rest?

Well, there are some NDPs going on to round 3. You would be one of them. Zanna is another. Marcmantoo is another. I'm real happy about that. You have to carry the NDP banner for me.

Nope not me. I'm trying to figure out a plan to get in next year! I just can't get a feeling for what is important, to blog or not to blog, help here on the boards or is that a drawback. Although I'm sure the ones moving on are excellent(go DISers), how do you get past the tiny essays so they get to know you? If you figure it out let me know, I think we would have a blast.
