Has anyone called today and tried to book a room at Pop? Just curious.

My TA is so amazing!

She said that she will be on the phone Monday morning with Disney at 7am (TA opens @ 9am) and have us completely booked at CBR with FD before I even get there at 9am.

I'm so excited!!!!

ARGH! I got ASMo but the price from the phone was over $300 more than what the website quotes if I just do a regular non discounted MYW package reservation for room and 2 day tix.

For Aug 28-Sept 5 , 2 A and 2 Juniors (children 10 and up) at ASMo Standard Room with 2 day base tickets and no insurance

website price $1444.34

phone price $1764.34


WHY?

I have played on the site with some different options to see if he did the wrong tix but I can't get that amount. I don't have to time to mess with it anymore now, but is anyone else getting different numbers on the phone for the actual booking than if you put it in the website as just a package without dining??

The difference in prices seems to be the price to upgrade from QS to reg.... did you figure that in? Did you want it... I have read several posts about them doing that automatically.

I just got my second conf email this morning got one yesterday a few hours after I booked...little weird. My DM gets hers in the mail because for some reason her email sends it back to Disney
I am so excited now off to figure out MNSSHP and what day and ressie to change since they moved the dates from before.I have to figure when DH's dad and wife will come up to visit because that will be no park days and no MNSSHP days
Oh yeah now really looking at airfare...I won't book until June because that is when the good deals come out for SW.

I can't wait till Monday morning to call and book my vacation!!! I just have one question... what is the best phone number to call??? I've seen so many different phone numbers listed! Which one should I use?

I received my confirmation at 9:06am yesterday, and was probably off the phone by 8:45 or so. This morning I received my balance due notice so both were very timely.

Resort booked (WL, woods view as no std view available with FD)
Tickets taken care of
Flight booked
ADRs and rough daily itinerary done

It seems like forever I was waiting on FD, now I don't know what to do with myself.

My guess is the same since it is a difference of 320 (8nites x 40 a day to upgrade 4 guests). And I have also seen a few posts saying the CM upgraded them without asking first

I spoke with a CM one day via the book your resort board online chat about a problem she gave me this number 1-407-560-2428I now use it all the time since it seems I get nicer, better informed CM's than when I use to call the 1-407-WDISNEY . Also if you hate playing 20 questions with the computer, instead of answering press "0" I think its like 4 times you do that and you get a live person.

My travel agency that I normally use closed so I had to go to a new one and I'm pretty upset right now. I've been booked for a while because we were going with or without FD. But now that it's out I called my TA to let her know to call Monday morning to switch it for me. She is going to be on vacation and said she would leave it for her manager who doesn't come in until 10am. So I asked her could someone else do it and she told me noone would do it when they get in because they have other things to do. I don't know what to do? I already booked with her so I don't think I can do it myself... But I don't want to miss out on FD! I will never use this TA again!

Your choices are:

#1- Cancel what you have booked and rebook with another TA
#2- Cancel what you have booked and rebook yourself
#3- Stay where you are and tough it out.

I don't mind telling you that if a TA told me that she wouldn't be available to look after my booking and other folks in at that hour have 'other things to do' -- I can tell you that my choice would not be # 3.

Get a different TA if you are not impressed with your TA...I believe they can switch your ressie over or just cancel your ressie(if you don't have insurance) and book with another TA or do it yourself. There are a lot of great TA's that are Disney Specialist.
If you won't get charged fees and didn't buy insurance just cancel and book somewhere else...I don't think you will have a problem on Monday at 10am but you never know, I couldn't wait that long but that is why I do it myself and can't rely on a TA GL!!

If you like POP go with POP but POFQ is a small quaint resort that you can use POR(since you have stayed there before you know about everything there.
There is a difference in price tho so do whatever you can afford

Your deposit will be refunded to you. Did you book your airline tkts with your Disney package??? I would think they would keep your airline tkts with them but I have nevr done airline tkts thru a TA before so I am not sure. Sorry

i beleive the air was seperate. I just called and she is already on vaca... so i am waiting for the one of the other agents to call me back. So hopefully i can cancel and just do it myself at 7am Monday morning! thank you guys for your advice!

Just don't do what I did. On Thurs. when the Disney Visa deal came out, I was going to call on my way to work. I know the phone number is WDW-DISNEY. Well I am on the road and try to call on my cell phone and I realize that my cell phone doesnt have the letters associated with the numbers!!! I luckily remembered that I had Disney's Lost and Found number programed in my phone. So I called that and managed to get to an operator and then to a booking agent!

I just did. I got a standard room. I had a bounceback offer but we really wanted the qsdp. So I called to change it to the visa promo with no problems. I think the cm thought I was nuts wanting the qsdp instead.

There is only 2 ts meals we really want to do in 10 days so it works out for us. The 2 ts meals will be less than our tip money if we did do the ts meals for 9 nights. Plus we always buy the mugs so that is a addtional cost also.

I got my first confirmation yesterday about an hour after adding FD. I got one this morning, just showing my payments.
