i can't wait till monday morning to call and book my vacation!!! I just have one question... What is the best phone number to call??? I've seen so many different phone numbers listed! Which one should i use?

407-939-6244 (407-WDW-MAGIC ..... without the C)
That's the number i ALWAYS use. don't answer the prompts, just keep hitting 0 -(4 times) and you will get an agent

still making that big decision:confused: maybe I'll let availability decide for me.POP OR POFQ :cool1:

Haha! I'm in the exact same boat as you are! I keep going back and forth and back and forth between Pop and POFQ! I've made pro's and con's lists and everything and I still can't decide! And my boyfriend is no help! Every time I ask him what he would prefer, he goes, "Whatever you want to do..."

Oh, don't you just hate that!!!! :lmao: I'm right there with you guys. This will be our Disneymoon (yes, with the child) so I'd like to have the luxury of POR, but when free dining is offered Monday, it would be nice to save over $1,000 if I chose to go with a value....ugh! :confused3

Well, I am downgrading from the suites at CSR to 2 rooms at a Value. I really wanted Pop, but I believe that it may not be available. I guess it will be one of the All-Stars. Last year we stayed at CBR Preferred Pirate room(next to the water), but we were NEVER there to enjoy it so an upgrade would not be worth it to us. And besides.......this time we are footing the bill.;)

See, that's the thing --- I really don't think we'll be at the hotel that much! I'm a go, go, go person with no breaks........oh, it's such a hard decision!! We've never been on property so I think even the values are an upgrade for us.....

Nothing wrong with that! Chances are, I will be taking mine when we get married.:upsidedow

Woohoo! Called this morning to have my reservation adjusted for DV free dining and on a whim asked if CSR had availability with free dining. They did and I jumped on it! The total was something like $36 more than I had originally intended to spend to stay at ASMu. I would have never known to keep a look out for FD if it weren't for this board, thanks everyone.

Now to convince my daughter that she will like CSR as much as ASMu. It's gonna be a tough sell. Is there a smilie for groveling?

Is ASMu All-Stars Music, or All-Stars Movies? Or both? If it is, how did you get only a $36 price difference?

From POP to CSR (with us paying for reg DP), it was a $563.98 difference for us.

My TA is so amazing!

She said that she will be on the phone Monday morning with Disney at 7am (TA opens @ 9am) and have us completely booked at CBR with FD before I even get there at 9am.

I'm so excited!!!!

LOL - nice!

Mine wouldn't admit to the FD on Monday when I spoke with her today. Even after I pointed out that it's already stated on the Disney Visa website that the offer opens to the general public on May 3rd.

I know she knows. She told me before that they know about offers 2-3 days before they are annouced. But she also said she could not tell her clients in advance. Guess she sure knows how to keep a secret. :rotfl:

But I know she'll have us booked! :goodvibes

Hi all! I've been following this thread for months so I would know when FD was coming out. We went last year and loved it. My travel agency that I normally use closed so I had to go to a new one and I'm pretty upset right now. I've been booked for a while because we were going with or without FD. But now that it's out I called my TA to let her know to call Monday morning to switch it for me. She is going to be on vacation and said she would leave it for her manager who doesn't come in until 10am. So I asked her could someone else do it and she told me noone would do it when they get in because they have other things to do. I don't know what to do? I already booked with her so I don't think I can do it myself... But I don't want to miss out on FD! I will never use this TA again!

Ohhh I would be so ticked! I agree with Knox. Book yourself and cancel them!

My TA won't admit to the free dining, but I know darn well she'll be up and booking early. Back when I first contacted that agency, she told me they are in *early* to book special offers when they first come out for their clients. And she volunteered that information! I didn't know the questions to ask back then.

Hummm...maybe because she was afraid that you'd come to some on-line discussion forum and tell everyone else? :rotfl:

Yep, a kept secret indeed! I'm not surprised though, as Knox has said on time and again those who do share info would be in a LOT of trouble/loss of job if they 'leaked' any such info. I can't even imagine how hard of a secret it is for TA's, Cast Members etc. to keep!! I mean can you imagine just how many people (such as yourself) called their TA's today to pry? :lmao:

Where are you staying DaniB?

It is really hard :confused3 they really weigh out pretty closely...eventhe money becasue i would upgrade my CS to TS...4 adults, it's still just a few hundred different.........let me know what you decide

Yes I am very upset. I called and the manager is supposed to call me tomorow. If they are not willing to do it for me early Monday morning then I am going to cancel and book myself. So we will see what she has to say tomorrow. But I do know I wil not use this agency ever again!

as an agent, believe me, it's very very rare that we get a head's up... i rely on the dis 'cause yesterday the info here was instant... my agency did not get the info 'til much later in the day... she may know "something" but specifics are kept under wraps 'til it launches...

as for monday's GP release... agent's have not been officially notified yet... even though the visa website has already let that cat out of the bag!

is your TA a disney-specialist? ear-marked status? college of disney knowledge graduate? it truly makes all the difference in the "world!" :thumbsup2

LOL - too true!

We want to stay at CSR. If that falls through, then... I'm not certain! I guess we will go to POP. We cannot upgrade to a Deluxe, and we only choose CSR in the beginning because of the queen beds. Now, after all the research I have done on it, I've fallen in love and don't want to switch!

How about you?

I noticed a PP asked about booking online on Monday for the general public FD - that may not work for you. Sometimes you can't book online the first couple of days on a new promo.

If the PP wants Pop, WL, CR or POFQ, they'd better call.

That was me. Thanks. I knew it would be too good to be true. I guess I'll be on the phones Monday morning. Last time I booked, I was able to book my parents room as well but I had a pin. Can I book their room for them with a regular promo? Just trying to make it as easy as possible.

I don't know that it means anything, but I booked at POP and told the cm I was going to link my sister's ressies to mine when she made hers, and he suggested that she make it as soon as possible, so I just booked hers too. Rooms for free dining at POP may be limited already. Or the cm may just hang out here and wasn't acting on any knowledge of the situation.

LOL.

The truth of the matter is, my TA didn't have a clue that Disney was even offering FD this year. But as soon as I explained everything to her (info I learned from the Dis Boards), she told me not to worry about a thing. She wrote down all my info and told me to come back 9am on Monday morning and everything will be done.

I'm very happy with my TA. :rotfl:

Is ASMu All-Stars Music, or All-Stars Movies? Or both? If it is, how did you get only a $36 price difference?

From POP to CSR (with us paying for reg DP), it was a $563.98 difference for us.

I think the diffrence is between the regular reservation with no discounts.
Staying at ASMU paying for the tickets and paying for the dining plan.
Staying at CSR only paying for tickets with free dining. equals 36.00 more.

If we stayed at pop paying for the dining plan it would be 630.00 more just for the cs plan.
IF we stayed moderate with free dining it would work out to 670.00 for 9 nights.

ASMu = AllStar Music but they are both the same price. The comparison was the price of 8 nights at ASMu with a 20% room pin, DDP, MYW/PH/WPF&M for myself and DD ($2075). Against 8 nights at CSR with MYW/WPF&M and free DDP ($2111). I could have pocketed the discount by staying with ASMu and adding DV free dining. Even with upgrading to DDP from QSDP I would have saved something like $400, but I had already budgeted the money so I went with the upgrade. I did drop PH so that was a $112 difference, but still not sure why your numbers are so different.
