And I'd like to take this opportunity to say that this is the most fun thread I have ever been on in my 5 years here (actually I've been around since 1998. Anybody else remember what the boards looked like back then?!). I consider you all close personal friends and appreciate you letting me hang out even though I already have the BB.

We went last year in August and stayed at POP and got the DDP. All the posts I been reading that it was just QSDP for value. I'm wondering if they gave me the wrong offer. I thought it was the DDP for all resorts. Oh well, have a trip already planed and hopping for FD if not, oh well, we just won't spend as much on sovies. We really don't need them anyway. Here's to waiting until the 29th.

You didn't get the wrong deal last year...In years past they have given the Reg DDP for all resort levels. This year it is RUMORED to be QSDP for values and DDP for mods/deluxe.

I have a question. Me and my mom have a Disney Visa. Can we book the ressie on her card and use both of our reward dollars towards the cost?

You can use your moms DVisa to book your rooms. I don't believe you can use the rewards dollars because you have to PIF 45days prior to arrival and the rewards dollars isn't used like a credit card, right?. I am pretty sure you have to use it in person, not over the phone.

Oh don't worry, you will surely know! I will be on for sure to let everyone know how much I saved, if it does come out. We are hoping for PoFQ, but will stay at any moderate. Our choices in order would be PoFQ, POR, CSR and CBR. We stayed at CBR once before and loved it, but I am looking to try something knew.

What was the topic of the day supposed to be today? I think it turned into General Hospital. I don't watch that one, so can't be involved in that convo, but I know Days of Our Lives does the same thing with age progression. One day a kid is a toddler and the next they are getting married.

I love CBR!!! We stayed in the Pirate room last year. I have liked all the moderates. What date is it suppose to open up for the Visa card members.?

The offer in August was for DDP all resort levels, what others are referencing is the extended plan that was in November. In that plan, they had tiered dining based on resorts. The August plan was for the regular DDP all resorts. Last year in August, they even gave upgrades to those staying value to SSR and OKW.

I don't think there is any difinitive date for D Visa members. Who knows, maybe they won't even offer it to DVisa members first. They usually do with free dining, but they could always switch things up and go right for the general public. I think we are still in the anything could happen mode. Not sure we will even get out of that mode before the day it is actually announced.

Another "you're right". We went last year and stayed at ASMu. I booked bounceback for ASMu Family Suites and the Contemporary (our first split stay) for free DDP this August ... and I am so glad I did!!

Yeah look at my year joined. I came over with the ARK! I was actually sooner than my start date. I had a diffrent account and it got lost the boards crashed or something.

That has been the speculation based on how far in advance DVisa holders have gotten the FD offer before the general public. But as said, nothing is definite until it's actually announced, not even May 3rd.

The worst exploitation of time was on OLTL years ago when they had a costume ball that lasted 7 months for one night to pass. There were 2 murders and all the winter holidays went by without a mention.

I don't remember that... Although, I thought it was interesting that AFTER Todd tried to get his 2 children kidnapped, he was trapped on an island with the man he hired to kidnap them and the woman who was his ex... he conceived a child with her, years later she shows up and he finds out he has another daughter.... who is younger than his oldest daughter, but older than the son who was about 3 or so when the island thing happened.

There may have been a pin attached to your name. That is what happened to us. I never asked for the upgrade I just got my info and it was on there. So I called and they told me I had a pin.

I trying to get next Thursday off so I can sit and wait and book my trip.

I don't have a DVisa but I've already taken a vacation day on May 3 in hopes of the rumored FD announcement. This is really sad
but really funny at the same time.

I hope they come out with a Dvisa deal soon. Then they might announce when everyone else gets a chance at it!!!
