2010 Fall Dining for DVISA Is Out (See FIRST page)'

I think where it's not working out for us is we have 4 disney adults and 3 children. So one room, where the 3 little ones are with 1 adult, it would make an impact but the other room is still amost 3000.00 for our stay plus QSDP. Our two rooms are different reservation number so we could just upgrade that one room to this deal and then pay OOP for the other rooms meals, still it's not nearly as enticing as a full QSDP for free offer.

Kids Stay, Play and Dine question..:)

The Visa offer is for 4 nights/5 days. ...If you stay 8 nights/ 9 days, are the kids Free for the entire stay or just the 4/5? I am curious to see how much of a savings this would be for our family....:)

The entire stay. The 4/5 is sample pricing. The offer is available for packages of 3-14 nights, and the kids are free the entire time.

The Kids stay play dine offer also states a max of 4 guests per room. Does that mean if you have more than 4 in your room you can't book this? Or is 4 per room the max that can save?

Just booked 8/18-8/25 kids free at ASMu 7 nights/8 days $1794 with 2ad/2kids upgrade to DDP, without insurance. For us, FD with QSDP upgrade to DDP it would have been $1784 so $10 difference.

Also got HDDR Catagory 2 which I had had catagory 3 in our last reservation. Off to change my ticker. Thanks to the op for this!!!

if you could switch your players around, you would save money... the 3 adults (assuming they are all adults, not just "disney adults") in one room is costing you extra per night... swap one of them w/a kid if you can...

Im seeing it as Oct 2 on the Disneyrewards website...I really hope this isnt the deal...but what can ya do LOL

I just got on and looked too and it says through October 2 and has to be booked March 4-June 30. I guess I am going to do my Disney Math today but I still think I am better off with the 30/35/40 pin I have. Sad I was hoping this would be our first free dining trip....But maybe still? :confused3

If I were you, I would use the pin NOW and change it if FD is offered. My pin actually ended up saving us more than FD would have.

I just ran numbers and I could save $300 with Kids stay play and dine. The problem is my "kid" turns Disney adult four days before the vacation. So do I move up our dates to get the better offer? I'm thinking yes, but that could mean having to go Labor Day weekend. Or maybe just bump it up 5 days? As long as we arrive while he is 9, it doesn't matter that he turns 10 while we are there, right?

I just ran some numbers. We already have free dining we booked bounce back at pop.

This is our FD Package total now with 10 day base tickests for 2 adults 1 child and one infant. 1675.84 staying 9/24 checking out 10/3.

This is a package with the kids promo I only have one that qualifys. Same as everything above only the QSDP 2026.86 diffrence 351.02 more. The regular dining plan which I already have is 2206.86 so 531.02 more.

This promo isn't bad if you have 2 or more kids and you stick with the QSDP. I think the diffence wouldn't be that much.

Can you tell I'm bored?

This doesn't help us AP holders at all...guess I will keep waiting til May 3rd or until AP rates are released for the fall.

I am currently booked with the pin. We have been debating on upgrading to WL because with the pin it saves us $756. We are currently booked at CBR preferred room so $400 plus savings with the pin. Kids free isn't worth it for us because we only have one at that age. We were hoping for free dining (still are) because at the moderate level it will still save us a little bit over the pin. I guess the wait is still on.

Well I ran the numbers to compare the Kids Stay, Play & Dine vs Free QS Dining for us.
We would be 2A & 2C - Value Resort - 8 nights/9 days.
9 day PH tickets + upgrade to the Reg. dining plan.

If I am doing it correctly (which no promises that I am:surfweb:) the savings seems to be just a $100 or so difference for us between the 2 offers, so I think either one will work for us.

We are currently booked at POP for 8/17-27 under 20% off pin. I thought the kids stay/play/dine offer might be good for us since I have 3 kids in that age bracket. But, after doing the math, if I switched to this new offer, it would only save us about $155. A free dining promo would be so much better for us. Not sure if I should switch us to this Visa offer and then hope to switch a 3rd time for free dining in the future or am I pushing my limit with switching discounts a 2nd and possibly 3rd time?

I couldn't take it anymore I'm going :crazy2: waiting for the Free Dining to come out. I have been booked for 2A and 1C for Sept 28 to Oct 8 staying at Caribbean Beach Pirate Room with the regular Dining Plan.

I just called to alter my ressies. I added the kids play free with quick service dining for my son just to save a little bit of money. I did however upgrade him to the regular dining plan.

I will still wait for free dining but at least I saved something. I saved $325.47 using code CD3 for Disney VIsa Card Members. That will get me 4 adult tickets to the MNSSHP and my son's pirate cruise for FREE (well not free but you know what I mean LOL). I will only have to add the cost of 2 children MNSSHP tickets. We are going to the party twice that's why I need 6 tickets.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd let you know what my savings was.

I do not blame you in the least for going for the DVisa deal like you said at least it is a savings which can go to paying for other things and you have the peace of mind of having the resort and room type you want, instead of waiting for the unknown. :thumbsup2
