Schedule what transportation?

The only transportation you'd have to schedule for a Universal-only vacation would be getting to UO from the airport and vice versa and if you were planning on leaving property for whatever reason.

Once on property, everything is within walking distance, and there are boats that go from each hotel to the parks regularly if you would prefer not to walk (I believe there's a bus too, but I have never taken it so know nothing about it).

Thank you. I was so worried we were going to get left out if the FD is offered.

I hope someone can help me, I would like to price out the kids play & dine special with DVisa. Can I do that without calling? I tried to go to WDW website but only see where it is til Aug 14.

You can price it out yourself there is no place with out calling to get the total without doing the math. What i did was price everything out with everything including kids and then do it with out them just the Disney adults and that should give you the total. If you want to upgrade to regular dining the kids price for quick service is $9.99 per night, The regular is $11.99 take the difference and multiple how many nights you will be there and then you will have the upgrade price per kid.

Another way is to find the ticket price and add the dining and that will give you how much you save but that gets to be a lot of math in the end! :)

Ok, that makes SO much more sense now. I was reading the site thinking "how could this possibly NOT suck?!?" It said under transportation that you have to schedule 24 hours in advance, limited seating... if you can walk then it's not so crazy.
Do they give you free transportation from the airport? All I could find was the coach you can rent. (would cost us $80 or so per way for us :scared1:)
For us with the current offers US would still be a more expensive trip than Disney though. Maybe that is why Disney isn't reacting to them.

OK so Disney hasn't released any info on FD yet...but with all the talk about US...I went and looked at their site
They are offering something like the 7for4...Do you think Disney will go that route since US is going that route? They are doing the more you stay the more you save!!! So for booking 7nights you really pay for 4(42%savings)

What will Disney do now???
FD or 7for4??? I think I might like the 7for4 if DDP is included:rotfl:I know I am dreaming right??:confused3
I guess I will keep :surfweb:...:surfweb:...:surfweb: and ...

Hi all....I've been away working in Canada for the past week and have missed this board soooo much! First off, I have to say to all the Canadians on the board - you guys are awsome. Everyone is Canada was SUPER nice and helpful and the food was incredible everywhere we went. Okay, enough of that!

I called Disney this morning, just to see what's going on. Again, I have no PINs in my name - no shock there. I asked the CM if she's heard any rumors and she said no (which I never believe). But she did say they are booking VERY heavily for August, September and October. She said everyone is booking hoping for free dining. I asked her if that would stop them from issuing a promotion, and she said it could. Everyone has been saying this, but I didn't believe it until now. I am going regardless of free dining, but I am starting to get a little concerned.

I really don't feel like going through the whole post - is it still assumed that FD will be announced next week, or has that changed? What about visa card holders - any earlier?

Very interesting, I have not been over to the US site since we decided on not visiting them during this trip, but it could be a factor in what Disney offers if they see people going for it at US

Welcome back...but unfortunately there isn't a whole lot of good news. Disney has extended the DVisa off for kids free(stay, play&eat) until Oct2:eek: with QSDP. No extended offer for GP...which could be a good thing!:confused3 They also haven't added kids eat freeQS to the GP offer so it isn't like the DVisa offer.
Sorry there isn't any GREAT news!

so, does this mean they won't offer FD, or could they still offer it? I asked the CM and he said this has to be booked by June 30. Does that mean they won't release FD until after June 30? Because if they extended this, why would they offer FD at the same time, I would assume everyone will take the FD over the kids plan. This stinks! If I take this deal, can I change later if FD does come out?

and where is the offer listed - I can't find it anywhere. On the DVisa Rewards page, it still says August 14. Am I missing a promo page somewhere?

A CM this morning whe I asked about a code hinted " it might start in October like last year".

Guess we will wait and see ?

Question:
Usually when you book using your Disney Visa you have to put a certain amount on the card to book the reservation. What if your vacation is already paid for but you want to add a Disney Visa promotion. How does that work?

Are you referring to FD? Because if so, the CM is wrong...FD began in August (as it has every year it has come out).

It's not uncommon for more than one promo to be out at the same time. Just because one promo has been extended doesn't mean another one won't be added. As far as changing deals, as long as there are rooms/room categories available for the promo you want, you can change...however, keep in mind that "changing" may require you to cancel one reservation and begin a completely new one.

FD started in August last year and ran through October - then they changed to promo to run through December. (I went the first week of September and got the FD)

I'm so confused! I don't know what to do. If I take this offer, I have to put another $200 on my DVisa and then if FD comes out, I would have to put another $200 on my DVisa - and my balance is under $500. Take away the cost of FD and I can't make that 2nd $200 payment.....UGH. WHAT TO DO...........
