No they do not lower their ticket prices. Getting one of the onsite hotels for $131 a night is a HUGE bargain. Rack rates on those rooms is over $300 a night. Universal onsite hotels offer unlimited front of the line access to US/IOA rides. They are like a Deluxe hotel at Disney.
$131 per night?!:scared1: I guess that's not too bad,but jeez, all I need a room for is to sleep and shower!! It does seem worth it to a degree though, when you throw in the "front of line" deal!:goodvibes

I'm 54 and I'm a huge HP fan!!! Dang, can't print that age any smaller!!!

I am 54 too. I have been calling this the 55-55 year. All of us born in '55 are turning 55 this year. I have so many friends that are this age!

I would like to just say that anyone who thinks this can save them even a little bit of money should book it!!! If you wait for free dining and it doesn't come out, what you would have saved may be gone, if your resort of choice or dates of choice sell out. It does not hurt to switch to free dining after you booked this, so don't think you are stuck with it if something better comes out. That does not happen.
You are absolutely correct!:thumbsup2 I think I might just do that-Thanks for the motivation!!!;)

As a side note...if we go to Disney this year...it is going to cost us $130 for 2 nights and $120 for 5 nights at Pop Century!

Worth noting, while looking at pricing for HRH, according to the site you have to schedule all your transportation. I just priced out my family and we would save about $200, but would have no food and would lose all flexibility- our Disney price includes dining.

The disney visa deal saves ~$200 + $10/night per child. For our 9 nights 2adults/1child QS costs $630 total, so if we had two children to pay for it would be nearly the same deal as free QS dining.

i just checked mousesavers.com. disney extended the disney visa deal for kids 3-9 until october 3rd. nothing on free dining.

OK, I'm REALLY confused. It is Sunday night, 11pm on the east coast. I've cleared the "cookies" from my internet browser.....when I go to the Chase disney Visa website, then View Disney Offers, and click on details for the Kids stay, play and eat for Free, I do NOT see anything about dates going into October!!??
It says Book now through April 24th for stays March 14-Aug 14.

I don't get it...

I just checked the site on two of my computers and it is the October. I am not sure, something must be going on with your history some where.

Is it only extended for Disney Visa holders?? I don't have a Disney Visa and on the Disney website it is only available from May 2 - June 3, 2010 for the Kids Stay and Play Free promo.

I have a pin that I received for QS en:confused3ding 8/14. I wonder if I should call and change my dates. Any suggestions? Or am I jumping the gun. It expires on April 30.:confused3

THanks for checking for me! I just went to our other computer...and then it did show the dates through Oct 2nd. Strange!

The offer doesn't work for us anyway b/c no kids under age 9...but I was hoping it wasn't true as I personally think this makes the likelyhood of them running a different dining offer (the usual FD from the past few years) at the same time to be pretty slim. But, hopefully I'm wrong as regular FD saves my family over $1,400!

If there is nothing by May 3rd for either DVisa holders or general public I'm moving forward with booking either a 2 bedroom offsite, or going to Universal this year.

You're welcome. I hope they offer the FD too. We have one that is 3 will be 4 and one that is two so while I can use the offer it is not as good as our pin so we kept with the pin. I guess time will tell but it is a bummer not to know something!

Either way it goes I hope you have a great trip where ever you go! :)

Yes the kids Stay, Play and Dine is extended only for Visa Members. The kids Stay and Play for general public has not been extended as of yet or any fall deal yet. Fingers crossed we will hear something soon! :)

I hope someone can help me, I would like to price out the kids play & dine special with DVisa. Can I do that without calling? I tried to go to WDW website but only see where it is til Aug 14.

Someone else on here suggested going into the Disney website and price out your trip with the resort you want with the number of adults only, the tickets you want, and add the quick service dining and that should give you a basic price of the trip.

Schedule what transportation?

Does anyone know if free dining is offered when you are only booking for 2? I know the "kids" offer does not; but if the regular free dining is offered, does it work if youre a family of 2?

I see so many deals based on a family of 4 and the couples get nada....

Thanks in advance!

Yes. We are just 3 and we've used it before. They just always advertise for 4 as an example for showing price differences.
