Does anyone know when disney releases January 2009 rates for on property hotels?

Typically they are released in August.

Yes, I have been scouting them. You can book just your hotel 499 days in advance, then add the package to them later. So you don't have to wait to book the resort. They will add your package and adjust your price for you once the 2009 rates comes out.
