2009 Rates & Booking Availability?

Any idea when it's possible to start booking 2009? We're interested in May 09 but when we clicked on Dreams Unlimited it only had 2008 bookings.

I believe the 2009 rates will be available early in August.

The 2009 prices will be out sometime in August. You can book a room only now, which will be quoted at the 2008 peak or holiday rates, with a 1 night's deposit. Then the price will be adjusted when the 2009 prices are released. But if you want to book a package, you will have to wait until the prices come out. Also, if you are thinking of booking room only now and then changing to a package after the rates come out, you will need to cancel the room only and book your package, as you can't just add tickets and dining to a room only ressie to make it a package.

we'll be back from our Bermuda cruise mid August. Then we'll be able to concentrate on Disney and begin looking into prices etc.

Each morning I wake up and say today is the day, disney will post 2009 package, and yet I am wrong each day. The suspense is killing me.

Called last night-1st week of August the new rates will be out. I bought my Feb tickets in April.

I bought my airline tickets on July 10th for next summer through Northwest ...
It was a good price so we bought the tickets ...
Our dates are May 30 through June 9th ...

We bought our airline tickest last week (we are going in May 09), it was a great deal, so we booked them. I am expecting some changes between now and then, like a lay over, or later flight etc., but we could not pass them up.

For most of the "Legacy" airlines you are able to book tickets 330 days out. The cooler carriers like jetBlue, Southwest, and Virgin America release only for a few months out.

We booked room only for Dec 2009 - I was told (by 2 diff CMs) that once the 2009 rates come out, we can add tickets/dining if we choose to. They DO convert the reservation to a package by working off of our original room only reservation -- but we would get a different confirmation number. Also, they refund the deposit already paid and charge a different deposit for the package.

Not sure if that was the info you wanted to find out or not....but if you're staying at a popular time where it may fill up, you can at least get the hotel booked now if you want to.

yep, we're holding out for JetBlue, direct from NYC to Orlando We'll take care of the rest before hand.
