2009 Mother's Day Brunch

When does WDW Dining typically open up for reservations for Mother's Day Brunch at EPCOT? I have been calling off and on since last October. I am aware of the new reservation policy and I am within the time frame to make my ressies. I began calling this weekend and so far they don't have any information on this event. I was told that it won't be difficult to get a ressie because this was not a well known event... well, it sure seems to be here on the disboards and there's a lot of dizzers out there! I've promised my mom and lord knows I won't hear the end of this if we don't get in

I'm afraid there is no Mother's Day brunch at Epcot this year.

I was given the same info when I made my ADR's Sunday for my upcoming May trip. The brunch usually sells out. I guess they're expecting fewer people with the shape the economy is in.

We went last year, and we just didn't think it was worth it as there was lots of duplicate or similar dishes, had to pay $6.00 plus tax and tip for bottled water and there were long lines for character photos.

It didn't look sold out last year (lots of empty tables), so I'm not suprised they have decided to cancel it.

They could have at least done something not so grand, instead of cancellling altogether - less money or 1 credit instead of 2, perhaps?
