2009 DVD in!

I just got my new 2009 Disney DVD in the mail yesterday and popped it in last night. I have the 2008 DVD too, and there are some definite changes between the two. I thought they would be pretty much identical, but it talks about some of the new things they'll be offering this year - like American Idol at HS, refurbished Spaceship Earth at Epcot, free admission on your birthday, etc. Much more informative I think than the 2008 DVD. Just my opinion though.

Yes, there is some cloudy, dreamy stuff, but what do you expect? It's Disney...

yea i guess. this celebration event isn't that exciting anyway, imo

but these recent dvds make me miss the 2005 dvd even more. i WISH they did their dvds like that! they were so much fun to watch, and made me want to be at disney w/ them! i especially loved that they added easter eggs on that dvd, so cool

Could you explain how to access the easter eggs? I believe I have the '05 DVD, as although there is no date printed on the disc, the booklet says MGG-05. Thanks.

if you play it in your computer, here's what to do:
at the main page, you click on "scene selection". then click on "more". then move your cursor around the blank space above the "main" and "back" buttons. a green mickey head should appear.

i'm not really sure how to find it on the tv, but i hope you find it! it's really entertaining

Mine came today. I had completed the online order form a week ago. Glad to know it is different. I cannot believe the free ticket on your birthday offer. I never thought I would see that day!

I loved ours! It does have some of last years stuff on it but I enjoyed it. It is more colorful and has a couple different information pieces on it. I have watched it twice.

YAY this makes me feel a little more optimistic.

is there a kids section on the new dvd? i liked the kids section on the YOAMD dvd b/c it was similar to the 2005 dvd. it had a cast of teens riding all the best rides of disney world, sorta like the 2005 cast going through all the parks. it was fun to watch.
