Is anyone seeing Bounce Back offers for 2009 at the Value Resorts? We're leaving in 2 weeks and I'm interested in booking our next trip at the discount.

Also, the BB offers are for any resort not just the one you are currently staying in, correct? Meaning if I stay at the All Star this year, I can bounce back to the Pop next year.

TIA.

The BB offer was in our room at POP. We made a reservation to return to POP but I don't think we HAD to stay there again. It was our choice.

Brooke4 is correct - the only BB offer right now is to able to book a Free Dining package for next year 2009, and there is no other BB offer with discounted rooms, etc. going on now.

This FD BB will expire for new bookings on 10/24/08, so there probably won't be any other BB offers until that one ends.

Though the flyer only advertises Mods and Deluxes, other DISers have reported booking the Free Dining BB at Values, here's a couple of examples:

i asked for pop from the 23rd to the 30th aug 09 and had a 1 days base ticket, and we got it

Just returned from Pop and booked my week next week. It is from 8/23/09 thru 10/01/09 and you get the one table service, counter service and snack per day. I booked 2 adults, one junior in a room at Pop, standard, with one day base tickets and with tax and all it's 831 and some change. Must be booked before you check out. I made sure that it was the full dining before I booked it. Great deal once again. Loved our short time at Pop.

Joann

BTW, yes, you can book a different resort than the one you are staying at.

Anyone know what the bounceback deal would be for two adults only?

You can pretty much get an close idea of the cost if you go to the WDW website and price out a regularly priced package with the dates, resort and tickets you want - just remember don't add dining as that would be free.

Then, hopefully, when you would actually book it while you are at WDW it would come in cheaper  , or at least around the same as you expect it to :goodvibes

The current Bounce Back Offer is for 8/23/2009 to 10/1/2009 and
10/2/2009 to 10/8/2008 ONLY. The offer is for free dining . You will pay rack rate for the room, must purchase as least one base ticket for all parties.
My quote was for All Star Sports for 9/10/2009 to 9/14/2009 $532.70..
This was for a standard room for 4 nights for two adults, 1 base ticket each, and no insurance.

This offer must be booked from your Disney Hotel Room X8844, and must be booked by October 24, 2008..

We did the bounce back from last year for this year when we were staying at POFQ. We booked at POR for this year. After getting home we decided to change to a value instead and save a little money. You can bounce back to another resort if it is available for the bounce back offer. We loved our last trip with the free dining and if all works out this year we will use the bounce back for next year as well.

Woo-hoo! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: That is exactly what I was hoping to hear. I want to book our next year's trip with the free dining for the end of September/early October.

Another question: If I were to book 10 nights with the Bounce Back, then decided later to cut it down to only 5 nights would that be possible? What about if I were to book 5 nights and wanted to change it to 10 nights?

And yet, another question: I am saving this year's one-day park pass that we had to buy to get the Free Dining to put towards next year's 10-day/no expiration pass. Since I need to buy park passes to get the free dining next year, can I get the no expiration-10 day pass and trade it this year's one-day pass for credit? Does that make any sense?

Thanks all. This board is amazing and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy (:lovestruc )knowing that I'm not the only Disney Freak who makes a hobby of planning my next trip! ;)

Yes, you can cut it down to 5 nights without a penalty if you do it more than 45 days in advance. If you make that change less than 45 days in advance, then there is a $50 fee.

If you are asking whether they will give you credit for this year's one-day pass toward buying next year's 10-day pass as part of the FD package, I believe the answer is no. But I think you could book only a one-day pass for next year, and then upgrade that pass to a 10-day pass when you get there; or you could save next years's one-day pass for something else and upgrade this year's one-day pass to a 10-day pass next year. Confusing, huh?

Another thing: I think you can only upgrade unused passes at the parks or DTD guest services. I tried to do it at our resort, but they said no.

Thanks! That is what I expected. I booked this year as a short trip, then missed out on the Free Dining when I want to extend our trip. Next time I'll be sure to book a longer trip!

Its better to book more days then you need and reduce it later then book less and try to get more later

Two questions.
Can you book for 9/30/09 and get free dining for all the days on your trip?
Can you book for more than 10 days? this year we booked for 14 days. TIA

I have searched and searched for more info on the Oct. 2-Oct. 8 deal. Does anyone have some info to share on that? How is that special offer different from the Free Dining offer with the larger grouping of dates of Aug. 23 to Oct. 1?

DD has Fall Break that first full week in October, so that would mean she wouldn't have to miss school next year for our vacation (if we go next year). Any info on that October promotion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Bethany

Just remember that your hotel rates will be higher because the season changes on Oct 1st, so your rack rate will be higher.
