2008 DL Half Marathon ASI Photos up! Spam away!

Hi Michelle!!! Congrats on the DL being your 1st Half. I know before i left I had to have seen your name because I remember laughing at your description of looking like Sherbert in the 2 colors. If must be a sure sign of getting older that out of an entire post on the word SHERBERT stuck in my head

I had a great time seeing everyone. I remember seeing another WISHER as I was heading to Frontierland and she was heading to Main St. My brain is still befuddled I remember thinking I know her! As in i've seen her photo before and should know her name. It had to be Tracy or Erica but I LOVED that moment that I looked across and saw a familiar face in the crowd.

I know we all run our own races but I truly enjoy and find energy in knowing that I am surrounded by my team/friends.


I'm in the pre-race ASI photo too you just have to look between Pat and Jim. I'm on Pat's shoulder LOL Susan is the one white.

Jeff I will have to grab my DH's computer and watch the video. I'm looking forward to seeing what you caught. I hope I get to see Marcia in January either at the meets or before/after the race. If she is doing the Full let her know that Susan and I will be at the water station by the Grand Floridian (at least that is where we picked). I will wear a WISH shirt like Krista and Jim did under the jacket they supply.

Way to go Team!!!! Another wonderful race full of great memories for all

Hi there--My sil and I had a ton of fun running the DL Half!

I took a lot of pics but there is one that I regret not stopping and taking...

Did anyone happen to get a pic of the woman standing on a corner holding a sign that read: Run, B*tch, Run!

It was hysterical and very large--so it would have been easy to photograph. Think it was around mile 9 or 10 and I wasn't sure I should stop. ha!

If someone took a pic of her and her sign, I'd love it for my scrapbook.

I didn't take a photo, but she was standing at the exit of the Angels Stadium parking lot, across from the parking lot booths/gate, on the right hand corner. About mile 10 1/4.

I laughed her way, and gave her a thumbs up.

I saw that sign and was CRACKING up! Didn't get a pic, though, sorry.

I thought the sign before mile 1 that someone was holding "only 12.1 miles to go!" was hilarious, too. My friend said "that's just mean." lol

Casey?!?!? Is that a fuelbelt you were wearing? I looks like it lays low on the hips? It's not the 1st thing you notice in the photos unlike my amphipod which dissects my middle LOL

Sorry, just now seeing this! Yes, that's a 2 bottle fuel belt I have on. I wear it super low on my hips. It seems to stay put best on me when I wear it there.
