****2008 Ddp FAQ****

I think there was a mistake on the first page. When I was at the Pop last week we could get a pizza meal delivered for 2 adult ts credits. It was 2 drinks, 2 deserts, 2 sides and a pizza I believe. I never saw that mentioned anywhere before going, including the DDP info on Disney (unless I missed it), and I don't think they will change it in 2008. Anyone know for sure?

It could be a change, or it could be just that you got lucky. I do recall others trying that before, and not being as lucky.

I do remember reading this somewhere on the wdwinfo.com page about the DDP.

Don't know if this is the same but I called to ask about the "dinner for two" or whatever it's called at Nine Dragons and they told me it was included, it would just be 2 TS per two people. Maybe I had better call back!

It may not be the same. All the items on the AP fixed price are on the regular menu. 9 Dragons may not operate like that.

anybody know if this is correct...must pay tax on everything up front???? Plan is really starting to become unappealing to my family, although we enjoyed it in the past.

Okay, I know the tax on your meal is included in the DDP,but....I was told that there IS tax on the $37.99 & $9.99. Also, I know Fantasmic at the Brown Derby used to accept DDP. Anyone know if they still do?

I noticed that Tutto Italia was added to 2008 DDP. We just need Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining to be added (fingers crossed)

The Disney Dining Plan cannot be purchased separately. It is one component of the following Magic Your Way packages: Magic Your Way Package Plus Dining; Magic Your Way Package Plus Deluxe Dining; Magic Your Way Premium Package; Magic Your Way Platinum Package. To enjoy the Disney Dining Plan, you must purchase one of these packages prior to your arrival. These packages are not available for purchase after your arrival.

Okay can someone explain the differences in what they include and the price differences in these? I know there is a link earlier in the post but it doesnt explain the real differences (selling points I guess you could say) clear enough for me. My problem is I met a couple recently who just got back from WDW, and they said they had the Ultimate Dining Plan. Now, granted they could have had the name wrong- but- they said they could go to any restaurant/show/character meal any time they wanted. There werent any exchanges and so on and so forth. They said they went to a character meal every morning for breakfast and almost all signature restaurants for dinner. Which package would that be? THanks for any help!!!

I am planning on trading 2 ts for the Spirit of Aloha. It says gratuity is included in Spirit of Aloha. Is it when you are on the dining plan too? I thought I read some place that I don't have to pay the gratuity for this but I am unsure. Thanks for your help!

The gratuity is included in the price for Spirit of Aloha, regardless how it is paid for.

I really hope so, when I reserved last week Tutto Italia was already confirmed and my CSR told me Tokyo Dining was also included as well...I may have to change reservations if nothing is confirmed yet!

I read somewhere on this board Teppan Edo was added in the last couple of days. You may want to call back and double check.

If it was added, the DDP guide has not been updated.

It took a few days to show up when Tutto was added....I'd call. I wish I could remember the thread it was posted in, but I don't. I would call Disney Dining and ask....make sure they are looking at 2008.

How does the "holiday pricing" premium charge that they are doing this June (argggghhh) affect you on the plans? We are/ were doing the new Deluxe Dining Plan-- will all the character meals have an upcharge on TOP of this?!?!

Ok, I have a quick question.
The Dining plan that we are getting for our trip next month comes with credits for the mugs at the resorts. Will this be on our "card" or will it be like a paper coupon? TIA

Does anyone know how tipping is working? Can I just charge it to my room? Do I HAVE to carry cash? How is Disney Handling this... personally I'd rather they just automatically add the gratuity to my check for me and charge my room, but that's just me... Has anyone experienced it yet?

Nevermind, my mistake. Its says for guests 3-9 :headache:

No,thanks for noting that!

I was assuming apps were off limits to all.

That will work out perfect for us because our son is sooooo picky - it gives another option for him and if he doesn't like it we each get a little taste.
