 Well I guess if I have it listed in my thread it's included:laughing:

This is funny, I never even realized it was your thread, either! :rotfl2:

So back on page 8 is when we were discussing the snack credits in France:

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1683477&page=8

She had listed Ham & Cheese croissant as a snack credit but then I just noticed in the same post it states no cheese plate or ham & cheese sandwich.:confused3

Well, I went to Allears again and checked the menu for the Boulangerie bakery and they have a Ham and Cheese Croissant for $3.25, and a Ham and Cheese Sandwich for$5.25. So, there is a difference between a H&C CROISSANT and a H&C SANDWICH, with the cost for the sandwich being 2.00 more. That's odd they offer both, but that's where the confusion must come in. Who would think they were two different things. If you told me get the H&C sandwich and I saw it listed as H&C croissant, I'd think that's what you were talking about and get that. Wonder how much difference in size of the two breads?
Of course, now I'm craving one of those! :)

Hello all - I got back from the HCOE last night and, while I still need to gather my notes for a more extensive review, I did want to report two things before I forgot...

1. The ice cream sandwiches at the Main Street Bakery come in Sugar Cookie, Oatmeal Raisin and Chocolate Chip. But, the ones in Liberty Square only come in Chocolate Chip.

2. I was at the Writer's Stop on Saturday morning. I commented that I had a bunch of snack credits to use up and it was too bad that none of the pasteries there were approved snacks. The CM quickly corrected me that everything in the bakery case counted as a snack and what would I like. So, I tried my first Carrot Cake cookie...yummo!

I'll have more later, I'm sure - Once I'm unpacked and catch a few zzzz's

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The reason the French Toast Loaf is no longer considered a snack is that it is now $4.19. I had it for breakfast on Friday (along with a frozen coffee and a banana) and the prices were listed on one of the receipts.

Not sure if this has been posted yet but, we just came home from a stay at Saratoga Springs I tried to use my snack credit on the yogurt parfait only to find out that it is no longer allowed. It has recently had a price increase from $2.49 to $4.29 according to the CM I spoke with.

Yowsers! That's quite the price increase! My experience was that SSR was one of the most frustrating places to use the DDP in general. That yogurt parfait was worth it as a snack credit, but, not nearly good enough to pay oop for regardless of price and certainly not at $4.29.

Btw, did you speak with multiple CMs? I found that one of the most difficult things with the DDP at SSR last Jan was that every CM told me something different. I had one case where I tried to get the same meal two days in a row. The first day it worked fine, everything rang up on the computer without a problem (clearly included all items on the receipt as a single QS credit), etc. The next day another CM told me that I couldn't have the dessert I'd chosen. When I said that I'd gotten it the day before she said, well I'll try the computer, then, she punched buttons and then said, 'no' it's not taking it. She ended up telling me that the ONLY allowable desserts were the bakery items. Yet, at the same time another person in my party managed to use a QS credit to get a non-bakery dessert with a different CM at a different cash. :confused3

The inconsistency with CMs regarding allowable items on the dining plan is quite frustrating.

When we stayed at CSR I was allowed to get the following as a snack credit(not already on the list)

Rix cafe
OJ
Tea
Bottle water

Pepper Market
French fries
Egg roll

Great help for a first timer on the dining plan - going to print it out and take with us!!
Thanks for the hard work :)

Thank you everyone, & especially jjohnson for posting all of this. It will be a great help for all of us!

The yogurt parfait is also no longer a snack credit at AKL. But there it went up from $3.59 to $4.19, so just over the $4 limit.

Now it makes sense. Thank you for checking.

Do you happen to remember any other items in the bakery case?

My guess it will be gone from BC marketplace too:sad2:

Wow -- that's a shame about the yogurt parfaits. It was actually a really great snack option for breakfast. I thought it was a rip-off @ $3.59, I can't believe they raised the price to over $4. :sad2:

I just used this list in making my snax list fot my upcoming May trip! It's in my PTR!!Shameless plug:rotfl2:

Jjohnson, thanks for this! I am going to print a copy to take with me for our December trip. When we were there in Sept of '07, I was able to get a full box of Entemans donuts at the Poly gift shop as a snack option as they were $3.99. Not sure if anyone has checked that one yet. It was great to have them to pick on after coming back from the parks but not hungry enough for food.

Unfortunately, they are no longer allowed anywhere as a snack option anymore. Only single serve items.

Last month at Animal Kingdom I got a large fries at Petrifries as a snack option. I didn't see that on the first page and thought you might want to add it. Thanks.
