This confirms what I always knew...DISers ROCK! You all think of everything...I never would have thought about listing all this stuff! It is super helpful!!! :thumbsup2

I know exactly what your son is talking about & there is a difference:goodvibes:

Well, I'm glad *someone* knows what he's talking about! I get stupid brain freeze :headache: at the drop of a hat, so I don't, er, CAN'T, try this stuff myself. (Yeah, that means no daiquiris... :guilty: sad, I know. But at least I can get my margaritas on the rocks! :rotfl: )

We went to Promenade Refreshments near Canada & received a lemonade slushie for a snack credit. It's large & refreshing. I don't know about AK but a had a frozen lemonade at Flame tree & used a snack credit.
Thanks! I forgot to put Promenade Refreshments on the list -- that's another one of his favorite spots. :goodvibes:

I love this board. People are SO helpful! :cheer2:

Wow! That's a long time at Disneyworld! You are fortunate to go for so long! Enjoy all your snacks and eating!:cutie:

Yup! It's a pretty long time.

I'm a little embarassed about it, :guilty: but... not too much. :goodvibes We really don't do anything else all year. I save all our $$ for our big WDW trip!

It's so nice to be able to enjoy everything without feeling stressed about what we're missing or getting all oh-no-we-only-have-X-amount-of-time-let's-get-up-at-the-crack-of-dawn-and-follow-strict-park-touring-strategies-and-run-and-run-and-get-all-frantic!!! :scared: I'm not saying everyone does that, but I definitely see it. There's something AMAZING about being able to walk up to Space Mountain, see a looooooooong line and no FPs, and just walk past with a "we'll come back later" attitude. I suspect the folks who live in the WDW area know that feeling even more.

And, of course, there are just too many places we want to EAT! We need a lot of nights to get all our delicious dinners in! :cool1:

You, my dear, have your priorities in order. :thumbsup2 When I hear "you're going to Disney again" I simply say "It's what I enjoy. People have hobbies and put lots of money into rebuilding cars and all sorts of things. For me, I'd rather live all year long like a pauper so I can save up and live like a Queen in Disney." Enjoy your trip, I would LOVE to go that long and be able to have so many wonderful meals!

I'm with you on that one. So many people comment to us about traveling and especially going back to Disney World AGAIN. Well, we've been married a pretty long time. We don't have a super fancy house or cars. We don't smoke, drink or party. We just TRAVEL and visit the Mouse. We LOVE taking our grandkids and sharing the fun with newbies. WDW is our drug of choice! ;) Some day we may not have a huge retirement fund to live on but we will have a whole lifetime of memories to replay!

I may be missing something but I was looking for a list of snacks at CSR/Pepper Market - I can only see a couple listed - please can someone who has been to the resort recently confirm any others?

Good for you! That is the right way to do it! I want to be you when I grow up!!!!!!!!!!:rotfl2:

I did not know there was sugar free mousse. I do know they have sugar free brownies. YUMMO

I noticed that there's nothing listed under "Goods To Go" at Old Key West. Since we're going to be staying there, I would love to know if they are on the DDP and what they offer for snack credit.

Does anyone have any information about "Goods To Go"?

TIA!

Can you please tell me what a itzakadoozies is. Thanks!! It certainly sounds like it would be a lot of fun to eat.....lol

Just wanted to update the AKL/Mara list as we just redeemed a snack credit for french fries.

Great thread -thanks for your hard work, Tiger :)

Is the french toast loaf at MK Bakery a snack?

I know last fall (2007) I was able to get it as a snack. That and a coffee (OOP) were a great start to the day ;)

Has anyone confirmed this has changed under the 2008 plan?

Well I know you can get coffee..I don't know about the other thing. When we were leaving I asked if I could use the snack credits for stuff in the store (we had 41 left because we forgot about them and didn't realize until the end of trip you could get water as a snack) ANYWAY. If this was posted before I apologize since I have not read everyones posts. I was told by 2 different hotels that a qualifying snack for the credit would be anything that is single serving and under $4. I just ended up getting lollies and snacks for the plane ride...
