2008 - 9 new adventures

I saw the add on the ABD site for 9 new places to. I was wondering what they could be. Everyone here has some good suggestions.

I have not been to Germany in a longggggggggggg time. I remember some of the castles i went to. The last trip i planned myself was using romantic inns and hotels. The fairie tale road i traveled by train. Alot of possibilties for Abd to do. Will have to check the site again.

In June, a couple of ABD execs from California joined the end of our Viva Italia tour in Venice. We asked about the 9 new adventures and of course they wouldn't tell us. However, they did say that ABD will be going to three new continents. Our guess was Japan and/or China, Australia and Africa. I guess we'll see if this was true or not when they announce the 2008 trips.

WOW! THREE new continents! Middle dd (17 in 2008) are already going to Austrailia next summer (World Youth Day)...and we've already been to Hong Kong......and other places in China....

Okay,
Here was some possible sites given to us from our recent trip:

China, Great Wall and possible HK Disney
Great Barrier Reef - Austraila
Possible one in CA that would tie into Disneyland, maybe Highway 1 on the Cost or inland with the national parks
Germany and Austria
Africa - something tied into the Animal Kingdom
Russia was mentioned possibly, guessing now
Okay, from hear I would like Greece or a Maine to NY one.
What are your Thoughts?

Four of the nine sound promising, but . . . there are buts attached to all four.

"The Emerald Isle - Ireland"
But . . . I am visiting friends in the U.K. in August of next year, and I may be bringing someone along of my visit, who is thinking of doing post-graduate work in the U.K. in 2009, and if that is the case, I won't do the trip, but . . . if she doesn't go with me, I can do this before my visit to the U.K.

"Backstage Magic"
But . . . I have the trans-Panama Canal trip in May on DCL, and I don't want to do two visits to California, but . . . I have a sister and brother-in-law in California, and if they are interested in one of these, then I may do a separate trip to California or do one in conjunction with the trip in May.

"Discovery Down Under - Australia"
But . . . if none of the above work out, I may do this one next year. I always wanted to see Australia.

Hi Steph ... I'll be joining you on the August repo... My dd and I are hoping to do the BackStage Magic tour before the repo! I've always wanted to go to Hollywood, so I figure while I'm there, might as well knock one more item off my "To do" list!
