Yes all the festivities are coming along well. I'll post some photos tomorrow, when she has opened her presents :)

I've never been to a casino. One opened near us last year, Paul's been a couple of times, but when it comes to betting I love going to Horse or Dog races. So what do you like to play when you're at the casino ?

Can't wait to see the pictures...you have to take some at the Transformers party too :) When I go to the casino I usually play slots or sometimes Caribbean Stud Poker (learned that one on a cruise ship of course)

I came across this photo in my signature and it just made me think of japan in epcot..I wish i was there right now.
I was just talking about Epcot and restaurants there earlier today...really wish I was there too!

Well mom has finally decided we are not cooking for easter..yippee..we are just going to get together for dessert..Works for me..:cool1:

Sounds like it will be a good holiday for you after all! :yay: Enjoy

They will begin bookings through October on April 17th.

I'd really suggest booking as soon as you can. Our flights to Florida and back in April just went up another almost $60 just today (I check them daily). The nice thing about Southwest is you can get credit if the flights go cheaper/you get a Ding rate. Next month's flights are the first once in a few years that I haven't gotten a ding rate or credit.
Thanks for the info on the release dates. I want to book the day they come out to try to grab a good rate (then wish for a Ding!)

Let's see if I can cover things over here..

Mandy - I can't wait to see some pics from the bday bash tomorrow!!

Michele - glad you are safe from cooking on Easter - are you still doing the hotel thing??

Veronica - HELLO my friend!! Sorry I couldn't chat too much last night - I was a bit distracted over here!!! LOL

Sandy - any word on when Ian's commercial will be out?

Melissa - How many days do you think I need to casually do DL? 3, 4, or 5? I want to be able to see everything - we prob won't get back there anytime soon! Also, what else is good to see in the area?

Suzanne - come out, come out where ever you are!! :wizard: I hope everything is ok!!

Diane - how are you doing over there? I see you had a busy weekend too!! I am finally reading and trying to catch up on the boards ..

Jen, Sandra, HELLO?? :rolleyes1

Danielle - thanks for the info - I saved it in my favs, so I can keep checking!

What/who am I missing?? Sorry if I skipped anything, I just skimmed through to catch up!!

Idol tonight!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone watch Dancing w/the Stars?

OMG, Becky's friend has just popped round with her birthday present, and guess what she bought her ... A Transformers mask/voice changer (so she sounds like Optimus Prime at the moment :rotfl2: ) and a Transformers Xbox game. Here she is

Laurie, I would go with either 3 or 4 days for Disneyland Resort: two days for DL, one for DCA and one to revisit favorites if you can squeeze the time in. As far as other things to do in the area there is Knotts Berry Farm, but I'm not a fan. Farther away is Hollywood and Universal Studios. I think your best bet would be to spend a few days down in San Diego. There is the Zoo, Sea World, Old Town and wonderful beaches. It is also much less spread out than the Los Angeles tourist attractions are.

Hello ... Hello ... is anyone out there ? I think you've all left me and gone to another website :sad1: :sad1: :rotfl2: I can't believe that there's no catching up to do (maybe you've all got a life :rotfl: :rotfl: )

Well it's my baby's birthday today, I can't believe that she's 15 - where's it gone ?

She's had lots of pressies. She's had a Transformers T-shirt (from Hot Topic), 101 Dalmatians DVD, Ratatouille DVD, Remy toy, more Transformers stuff and cute bits and pieces, and some money (and her XBox is part of her birthday present too) - she's done really well

Her party isn't till Friday, when she'll go Tobogganing and have her sleepover, and I've got a great birthday cake for her for her party, so I'll post some photos on Friday

I've had a busy morning, I popped to town to pick up some things for Becky's sleepover and then my friend (who I met through the DIS) came round for a chat and a cuppa tea :)

I'm running around after the girls this afternoon, but hopefully I'll find time for my exercise DVD later and then the girls break up for Easter today too

Have a great day everyone :thumbsup2

Can you believe how fast they grow? It's definitely too fast for me. It's a good thing we've stopped getting older:rolleyes1

Now, let me ask this - how far is San Diego from DL?? Can you drive down for the day? Where is Lego land?

Thanks for your help!

Happy Birthday Becky!

Her gifts sound great - she must be looking forward to the party this weekend!

I can't believe how quiet the boards have been... WAKE UP EVERYONE!

Happy 15th Birthday Becky!

Sounds like she's received some awesome gifts and will have a great party.

It was so nice to be able to sleep in past 7:00 AM today with the boys being off of school. It's raining so it looks as if we'll be stuck inside most of the day. It's back to being miserably chilly too. I don't think I've ever hated the winter more than this year.

Yesterday I picked up Keegan at bowling after school and took them to McDonalds for dinner so Brennan could get a Disney pirate's toy. Keegan won't eat McDonalds after seeing Supersize Me on MSNBC two years ago, so I had to make him dinner and then dropped him off at my parents.

Brennan's school had a roller skating party at a nearby rink last night so we were there from 6-8:30. I ran into a ton of people that heard about Keegan's mass through neighbors or friends and had lots of questions. It really hits home for people that have always known him as so healthy and they are scared about their own children. It's amazing just how small this town can be! I had my hair cut yesterday and a friend on the other side of the neighborhood's (we have 304 houses in the neighborhood) neighbor who I don't even know, told my stylist I had been in the hospital with cancer?!

Have a good day everyone

Laurie, we were thinking of doing Legoland in 2009 too. I've read it's an hour south of Anaheim. Brennan's joining the Brickmaster's club and will get a free ticket to Legoland California after joining. With the membership, you also get 6 Lego BrickMaster magazines, 6 small lego sets sent through out the year, and 2 legoshop.com coupons. The cost is $39.99 so I think it's a decent deal--- especially since the park tickets alone are about $50 for a child.

Thanks everyone for Becky's Birthday wishes :thumbsup2
