Oh- yeah, me, rich- SURE!!! First off, I had a coupon - and I had giftcards from my birthday and christmas that I have been saving - so, for both the sunglasses and the bag -- I only had to pay $4.50 out of my pocket! NOT bad, right??

Well, I just got back from the dentist with Bryan. I don't know who is in more pain...him with the effects of a baby root canal, crown etc. or me with the $950 bill Ouch! I walked out of the dentists office looking at the bill thinking "wow, thats almost 1/2 a cruise!"

Can you guess who will not be having any soda, candy or sugar for a long time!

OUCH is right - man, $950 - OMG - I think my kids will not be allowed sugar/soda either - I don't want that dentist bill!!!!

Hey everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome!

It sounds like there will be quite a few kids around the same ages. My 16 year old is named Nicole also. She is very strong minded and we butt heads alot!! Would any of the girls like to start their own posts and get to know each other?

Deb- It sounds like a birthday celebration is in order on the ship, I think I heard talk of Bahama Mammas and Bingo, sounds like some birthday cake also.
Tell Shaelyn congratulations on her BHS, that is a big accomplishment. My daughter's latest trick on floor is a Round off, back hand spring, back layout with a 1/2 twist. Of course that is on a spring floor.

Does any one do the trivia, we did great the last time and won a plastic cup and a golf towel but at least it doesn't cost anything like the bingo!

Has anyone ever been to Atlantis? We were rather disappointed with Nassua other than to buy rum cake and vanilla. Looking for something else to do that day.

Is anyone going jet skiing or snorkling at Castaway? We did the jst skiing last year and it was so cool. We did the snorkling in Nassau, but I think i will try castaway this time. We were signed up for the banana boat, but the tow boat broke down. the sting rays were cool, but i don't think I would do them again.

Laurie - we live near Valley Forge about 25 minutes from philly ( depending on traffic of course!)

Hey Diane, no we haven't been to Atlantis before. We're not fans of Nassau either, so we take advantage of a quiet ship and chill out on top deck with several Bahama Mamas (Mind you, I like the sound of these Rum Cakes )

We'll be chilling on Castaway Cay, the girls will probably take a pedalo out, but I'll be under a palm tree reading a book

Good Morning all - ONLY 2 posts to read this morning - WHERE IS EVERYONE!!! LOL

Anyway - Diane - We have only done the DVC trivia thing - Oh, and the boys were selected to do 'Who wants to be a Mouseketeer' on the last trip - so, that was fun! They got a pin and a glass thing - nothing fabulous! LOL

We hated Nassau last time, and decided that will be our 'sea-day' and not get off the boat!! I've heard Atlantis is really nice - but, I'd rather hang on the boat!!

OMG - and the banana boat - I will have to TELL you our banana boat story sometime.. you won't get the full effect if I type it!

I am not exactly sure where Valley Forge is - I am guessing you are 25 minutes in the other direction - so, we are probably about an hour apart! Not too bad though!!

Heading to work , then I have to go to the school for 2:30 to help distributed Gertrude Hawk candy and Yankee Candles from a few fundraisers that we have done.. then it's McDonalds night (the school gets a percentage of the profits), followed by Barnes and Noble night (again school gets $$) - nice that they pack it all into one day, right?? But, at least I'll get over to B&N and get some Disneyland books - IF the boys aren't looking!!! They will have some friends there to occupy them for a bit - so I'll sneak over!

I am so glad that I am home now, I was nearly knocked off my feet earlier, as the wind was so bad. I think I'll be doing my exercise DVD later, as there is no way I'm going out walking in this

The bf was a no show last night.I guess we scared him too much Originally nicole told me he wasn't to thrilled about meeting us ..he was scared of jeff but he was coming. Then the story changed to he had to ask his parents then it was no he can't come he has to go to his cousins.. So thankfully it was just the family at outback last night.

Diane we didn't like nassau very much either. The straw market made me feel like i needed a shower once we got back onboard..But jeff did buy me a really nice bracelet at effy's.. This time we are going to go to atlantis and do the pools and waterslides..I am going to sneak away to the casino when they aren't looking..

Mandy, I just got off the phone with the pacsun by me and they don't have any pink smalls in right now. They said to call back on friday when they get there next delivery. So if u girls can look around by you as well maybe one of us can get it. Veronica i checked at smith haven in lake grove. I will try again friday if the rest of u have no luck by then.

We received great news from Hopkins after the CT scan yesterday---Keegan's mass has drastically shrunk from an air/fluid filled mass the size of a large apple to an air filled mass the size of a quarter. They are not going to do surgery for now and put him on continued antibiotics (he'll be on them a whole month). The infection is gone and they think the mass will totally shrink up to scar tissue. They still don't know how long he had it or how it got there. He has blood work in 2 weeks to make sure he does not get a new mass/reinfected and another CT scan in 6-8 weeks to make sure it's gone. We really feel like we won the lottery. It's so nice to have such relief and look beyond today. Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers!!

Morning everyone!

Diane....we will probably try to snorkel one of the days on Castaway. We have our own equipment (both DH & I wear glasses so if we want to actually be able to see the fish we need our prescription masks). I know you have to get out pretty early before everything is churned up. The kids are debating if they want to do the stingray excursion. Myself and DS did it in November but a storm had just gone through so you couldn't see anything in the water and the water was chilly! We did enjoy feeding them but it was a lot of money to pay to just feed them for a few moments.

Mandy...I saw something on the news last night about the weather that England has been having - unbelievable! Enjoy your time inside today...Spring is coming!

Michele...I will call the PacSun in Broadway Mall today and see what other ones are close

Laurie - Sounds like a busy day! Don't you love it when the school has a million things planned for you!

Hi Diane,

Our cruise party consists of

Me (Danielle- 35)
Derek (35)
Keegan (then 11)
Brennan (7)

We have been on 5 DCL trips (3 day,4 day, Eastern, Western and 11 night Mediterranean) and have been to Nassau twice. The first time we did the Blue Lagoon Dolphin excursion. We had a great time and the boys loved it.
The second time we did the pirate museum, straw market and took a taxi to Atlantis to walk through the aquarium and check out the casino. This time around we will most likely stay on the ship since we won't have the sea day. We do think the new aqua aventure(?) park looks really interesting and will probably do that next December.
