I thought it was a great deal too but I just spoke with Derek and he said he'd rather stay at AKV and that we wouldn't need the tickets any time soon since we always buy annual passes. He said he'd think about it though...

Woohoo free dining...I can't wait till the 28th.

We are going to do POR from the 28th till the 31st and just keep the tickets till next year.

I promised jeff this would be a universal only vacation no disney parks.

I wish u could change the dessert for an appy. But i guess i will just have to be happy with my free desserts.

MY MOm and dad got the sports bundle, carnival games and the horse riding game for Sarah..

Dominic has the sports, and the carnival also - he has a lot of the Mario types too - he loves that WII!!!! The other BIGGIE that he loves to play is Guitar Hero!!!

Laurie - Hope you are feeling much better and the headache is gone! Maybe the Mets are causing it!

Sorry if I missed anyone! We had baseball pictures with Bryan early this morning then I had a baby shower for Tom's cousin this afternoon. My BIL and nieces then came over for dinner so its been crazy today. I'm happy to report that Emily is doing much better without the binky . She whined a little when she was tired today but didn't even cry at bedtime tonight (although I did have to rock her to sleep in the rocking chair). Have a good Monday everyone!

It's not the Mets - it's gotta be the allergies - although the Mets are adding the stress around here!! LOL Crossing my fingers that tomorrow is a good game!!

I am so happy to hear that Emily is doing better w/out the binky - she'll forget about it in NO time!!

We had a bit of good news though - Kerry had an interview this morning for a 2 year Media course at college starting in September and she text me to say that both her and her friend had been accepted. So it looks like she's going to be sponging off us for another couple of years

Jen - I can't believe that this time next week, you'll be at work, and we'll all be here w/out you!!

I started drops this morning for my eyes, not sure which ones I am supposed to be using first though, I have to call the pharmacy and see - I know if I call the doc- they'll want me in! ugh

I hate ironing too. Thank god jeff doesn't have a job that i have to iron his work clothes. I don't think any customers would expect their plumber to have his jeans pressed and his work tshirt starched...

We've had a super busy last several days. Thursday we had DH's grandmother's funeral in Pittsburgh. It was nice to see all of DH's extended family. His grandmother was Jewish and the service was mostly in Hebrew. The descendents are all Christian and although none of us really knew what was being said, it was nice. Brennan was even loudly singing along to a song (he loves to sing at church and is always off key) and the Rabbi asked him to come up and read a prayer from his Hebrew prayer book. Brennan loudly says "I don't know you people's words, I'm just singing words I know to the song." He has never in all of his 7 years said "you peoples" so I'm not sure where that came from.

There always seems to be be something "fuuny" that happens at a funeral. I think that is how we get through stuff... I think I would have gotten the giggles!

That seems like a great price for the value resort Danielle, and you'll get all that free food too. It sounds like a bargain to me, and the kind of deal that I would go for

I got some work done and managed to run out to Walmart and home with in an hour. Generally Walmart is packed to the point it takes forever to get a parking spot and check out alone. We have 2 SuperWalmarts with in 10 minutes of our house and they are usually packed around the clock. I was lucky on the way back the person in front of me hit a car turning and I managed to avoid them both. No one was hurt, but it was scary.

I'm still going to try and talk to Derek again about the free dining. I think an extra $166 is a great deal for 4 theme park tickets and not using any DVC points.

I talked to Derek again to try and convince him what a good deal it would be. He's only stayed at the All Star Movies one night before we got in the Beach Club Villas last October and the room was not in the greatest condition so he's afraid to try it again. I stayed in the same resort for one night last June and that room was in much better condition (that building may have been refurbished?) Then he said that the value resort towels were thinner?!? I offered to pack one from home! I've never noticed a difference in any of the towels. Then he started with "where else can you wake up and see animals from your balcony." To me it's just going to be a place to sleep and we'll be at the parks the rest of the time. I just have a hard time passing up a good deal. We could even use the extra DVC points to stay in a one bedroom instead of a studio in December.

I thought of booking a package just in case I can persuade him...I think I could get back the money up until a week before the trip.

I've heard some people say Pop is great. We'd have a rental car, so we don't need to worry about transportation (I've read a lot of transportation complaints).

Deffo the Pop Century for me Danielle, it's a lovely resort, and it's lots of fun there
