We've got a quiet day today. I'm going to the Easter Service at church this morning, then this afternoon Paul & I will visit his aunt at the nursing home - I'm looking forward to a quiet day after the madness of Becky's birthday/sleepover

Tomorrow Paul & I are going to a shopping mall, so hopefully I'll come home with something for the Cruise

Sarah was up with the chickens this morning and is thrilled with her gifts from the bunny!

We are headed in to my parents for dinner and then to Mark's brothers as it is our niece Rachel's birthday.

Have a great day today! We were pretty lucky - my boys were up AFTER me!! I got up around 7:15 - they didn't come down till around 7:45 - so, that was pretty good for them~ Usually they are up at the crack w/the chickens too!!

They were thrilled w/the DL trip!! They are down there 'studying' their books!!

We are supposed to eat about 1:30 or so - but, my mother and inlaws (UGH) - will probably get here by noon - this way I have to worry about feeding them twice - THIS is why I hate having the holiday - I say a time, and people start piling in HOURS beforehand!!

On a good note - I am pretty ready for tomorrow - I even have the boys clothes out and ready to go - I have those nylon-type track pants out w/a t-shirt and a hooded sweatshirt, this way, they are layered and can start tearing things off as we drive into the warmer weather - which isn't really 'warm' - but, warmer than here!!

I guess I'll hop in the shower and get moving down there - I already got a few things done before they came down - so, that was good!

Yes, it's been a lovely relaxing day here. I was at Church for 10.30am and when I got home at midday, the girls had only just got up We had a yummy turkey dinner and then Paul & I went to visit his aunt. We're going to see Vantage Point in an hour

OMG, I completely forgot that you were telling your boys today about the Disneyland trip - I bet they were thrilled - you're all very lucky

Well my parents are due in 2 hours then we are off to stay the night at the sheraton with some friends down from PA. Jeff blew off his parents this morning..HEHEHE. Well Paul & I have just got back from the movies. We saw Vantage Point, and thought it was great. Tonight we're just going to chill and Lost is on in a couple of hours

After a VERY busy day - I am tired - we had a great holiday - my sis didn't show up and didn't even call... I guess she was afraid of death.. LOL

I am going to do some last minute odds and ends and hit the hay!

We are leaving by 3am - so, I'll email someone in the morning to let you know that we made it out on time!! I love this blackberry thing - the bad thing is - I don't get my messages right away, sometimes it takes a few hours, so, if you don't hear back from me - don't get a complex! LOL

Well it is 11:16 and i am not at the sheraton. Austin threw up all over his room a little while after dessert. Happy Easter to me...i got to clean it. I think someone had a little to much sugar today. So we decided to stay home so he could just got to bed. He has been asleep ever since poor kid. My friends decided to head back to pa tonight since we weren't going to stay over... We will see them next month anyway for their daughters b day.
I hope everyone had a nice easter. Ours was nice until the incident... I thought my mom was going to lose it herself..lol. Well chat with you guys in tthe morning.

Good morning everyone! Easter was a great success! My MIL has decided she needs to come on the cruise too. It will be fine. She is getting her own cabin so it's do able.

School today. The kids have 1/2 day due to Parent conferences. Sarah's is today and DH and I are dreading it. Her substitute will now be her teacher until at least the end of May. He has now taken to public humiliation. Mark is fuming and I expect the conference to be ugly. It doesn't help that we are both teachers. It is a sad day when your child is so afraid to go to school because she is afraid to get crumbs on the floor.

I'm pleased to hear that Easter went well for you Jen. Good Luck at the parent conference - maybe it's time to tell that substitute teacher that you're keeping an eye on him now - I hope it goes well, cos there's nothing worse than sending an upset kid to school

Hey Michele, I hope you're having a good day. I received a test email from Laurie earlier, so hopefully she'll send me another one later

Well I've not long got back from shopping with Paul. Typically, I ended up with nothing. I saw a few things, but nothing that I wanted to buy. Paul bought himself a nice Billabong wallet and we had a chinese lunch in the mall (very nice )

On the way home, Paul went to a Motorbike dealers and bought himself a new motorbike - what is he like ? you'd think he'd want comfort as he gets older

No plans for the rest of the day, so I'll be on here for a while

Happy Late Easter

It has not been good here. DD started getting sick Saturday and we ended up taking her to the hospital yesterday as she was having difficulty breathing. I hate the hospital here they are so useless. We get there and they are like she just has a sore throat and that's it. What part of she can't breath don't you understand!!!. I hate this small town. I was ready to pack her in the car and drive two hours through the mountains to the next town and take her there.
So after two nights of no sleep and just lying there listening to her breath she seem be getting better. Her breathing is still noisy but not as bad and the fever has finally gone down. I did have people coming over yesterday for easter dinner but canceled all that due to DD being really sick. Okay I'm done venting now thanks for listening.

Hey Sandra, sorry to hear that Samantha has been so poorly over the Easter weekend. It's such a worry when they have problems breathing. Glad to hear that she's feeling a bit better now hug: bless her)
