Mandy, We only talked cristina into 4 days but that's better than her original 3. We are staying for 5 not 7 because linda can't get off work for a full week.

We are flying southwest...ugh..i hate southwest i wanted to fly jetblue but i was outvoted because it is a half hour further to drive to. I will have to deal with no t.v. this time.. Christina is going to leave her car at the airport for the trip and then pick us up when we get back the next night.
We almost cancelled the whole thing last night..We got into a big argument about what time to fly out.. but we eventually worked it out.It is booked now so we are stuck with it...lol.

Laurie, How was the school assembly? Boring? Good?

Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Things have just been crazy around here with all of those end of school activities and such. I have a respiratory infection that has been bothering me but I finally went to the dr. yesterday and got some antibiotics so I should be all better in a day or two. We went to Great Wolf over the weekend (not the best place for me with the infection and asthma because of all the chlorine but it was such fun it was worth it). Everyone had a great time. I am going to try to read through the pages I missed and catch up with all the posts.

Taylor started a Saturday reading program this weekend. So no sleeping in for me on Saturday mornings for awhile. Then we headed down to Delaware to my nephew's house for a family cookout. Our family is pretty large (7 children, many grands and great grands). My brother and his wife are here from Alaska for a visit. It's always good to see them. We don't get a chance to see them as often because they live so far away. It was so hot on Saturday that I spent most of my time indoors. But a good time was had by all. The weather has finally started to get back where it should be for this time of the year high 70's to low 80's.

We sure are excited about our cruise. The kids and I have never cruised before. Hopefully, the remedies for seasickness I've learned about will help.

DD Debi has been busy with my DGD (8) Shaelyn's dance recital and her National Cheerleading Championship competition which her team came in first in their division of 10 & under!!! Today, DGS (12) Christopher had to have 3 teeth pulled!

We were just confirmed for Main dining which I think will work out best as I have trouble sleeping if I eat too late, especially sleeping in a strange place. This of course gives us the opertunity to take snacks to the shows and of course order a snack from room service if we would like.

We live in Maryland and will renting a villa from 8/16-8/23 during which time we will visit DW at least a couple of days if the weather is not too bad (gotta have my Mickey fix ). I was there in early October one time and swore never again. Too hot!! Then on the 23rd we will be staying at the Country Inn & Suites.

Staying in a villa (which we have done several times now) will give us the oportunity to relax in our own pool and also to do laundry before the cruise; thus, taking less. I am a terrible over packer but I am getting better. You would think I am traveling to a third world country and not have anywhere available to buy something if needed.

I am still a little nervous about cruising with a scooter. I have used one in the parks many times but the ship will be quite different. I would love to chat with someone who will be using one during this cruise. Because there were no accessible rooms available (and not sure if we want to be all the way aft on our first cruise), we have connecting cabins on deck 6.

I hope we can meet some of our fellow disers! We have learned sooooo much from all of you.
