How cool for a movie to be shot in your town. Your pics are great and I'll show them to the girls later. They gave mixed reviews about the movie, but they said I should still go and see it

Niki did not give it rave reviews either, way too much suicide! I guess it was a good date movie, because I think she hid her head in his shoulder the whole time!!

Thanks for the warm Welcome ladies.
I only get time to lurk and post about once a week So I will have to catch up at the end of each week.

Tonight my son Kevin has his dance recital at 7.

Jen -I guess our kids have something in common. I see Sarah has her recital tonight also. The only concern is part of the show is outside and it just started to rain, so they may have to cut out part of the show. I hope not; I hope they can revise it to do it inside, We will see.

Danielle- Yes we will be at the Embassy Suites LBV. It must be nice if you have stayed several times. Did you use their transport to WDW or did you drive yourself?

I cannot wait for school to be over (neither can the kids) They are not doing any real work anymore and they come up with these cute ideas to drive parents crazy- next week is school spirit week and every day the child should wear the color designated( another thing I need to worry about)

At least when school is over , they will be in Day camp so I can get back to work full time.Now they have so many days off and half days, that I keep having to take off from work, or shuffle them around to kind friends that will watch them for the day ( See why I need a vacation) As you all do!!!

Well I have to get off to the recital . I will check in next weekend

Hi everyone

Today's been busy. It's seafest weekend here. They have it every year. It includes a parade which for a small town I think is pretty good. It lasts for approx an hour. Then they basically have a street party downtown during the day and tomorrow they have a fishing derby for the kids and sailpast where they decorate the fishing boats.

Glad to here Em's doing well.

Oh and I also was online and booked a shore excursion for Nassau and I looked at what was available for Palo (we are not doing it) and there was only the day of departure available. That sure filled up fast!! Congrats to everybody that got it.

Okay that's enough for me (three glasses of wine later) Did I tell you Seafest also includes a beer garden!!.

Mandy - how was your night out? You must still be out and about - there was no morning greeting from you! I miss that in the morning ya know! LOL

Jen - I got your email last night - I need to read and reply - I read it on the blackberry and it gets all jumbled up! UGH!!!! How was the recital last night?? Be sure to send some pics when you can!

Michele - how did the lawn go yesterday? Did you finish - or did Jeff? How was work? Enjoy your Ihop and dinner today!

Sandy - how is the weekend going w/the inlaws? Did your game get rained out last night? I know the Mets did! LOL (probably best for them that it did)

Veronica - How was your trip to Great Wolf? How bout those Mets? What does Tom think of the whole Willie thing?!?!?

Suzanne - I can't wait to see some pics from the dance!

Betty - how was the trip to DE yesterday?? How is Taylor liking her summer vacation so far? Do you have any other plans for vacations? or just the cruise?

Danielle - I know you aren't around - you are in a better place then us right now - probably on line for something! LOL Hope you are having fun!

Sandra - what excursion did you book? We aren't doing Palo either. We did it the first cruise, and it was great, but on a 4 day - it's hard to squeeze it in!

Mary Ellen - we'd love to see some pics from the recital!

Melissa - another trip to DLR - you are so lucky!! Next time you go - get me some maps of the parks - this way I can really plan! I have some books and stuff, but, they actual park maps are always SO much better!! Thanks!

Woohoo !! It's 10 Weeks till our Cruise ​

I can't believe that in 10 weeks we'll be boarding the Disney Wonder

We've not long been back from Birmingham, and we had a lovely time. The hotel was very nice, Paul did a bit of shopping (I didn't see anything for myself) and we went out for a lovely meal last night too

Today we're taking Paul for an Italian meal for Father's Day - so I'm chuffed that I don't have to cook or wash up I hope you all have a great day too

Sorry, but I am too tired to go through everyone's posts, but I hope you're all OK and hopefully I'll be around for sailaway tonight

Oh Laurie, you do make me laugh. You know you can do 2 pounds a week, it's such a shame you've lost your motivation, I hope it comes back soon (blooming dieting, it's a pain in the butt )

My only excursion at Castaway Cay is to the Conched Out bar for a Konk Kooler and Bahama Mama

Hi Michele, LOL my dad is a nightmare passenger too, he's always telling me when to indicate and stuff - I've only been driving 25 years

Have fun at Outback later We've just got back from Frankie & Benny's and it was delish. All the dad's ate free, so that was a cheap meal for me

I've booked the stingrays for me and Mom on the second day. Dad begged off. It sounds interesting though!

Afternoon Ladies, Glad you enjoyed your meal Mandy.

We were supposed to head out for ours at 2 but jeff isn't feeling well all of a sudden. He was popping baby aspirin last night while i was at work the kids said. We have gone to the emergency room like 12 times because we thought he was having a heart attack...ugh..guess this might be #13. It is always the same each time his heart is fine and he has to stay for 24 hour observation to make sure. They say he has muscle skeletol contractions...basically it feels like you are having a heart attack ..you get all sweaty,light headed and short of breath,pain across your heart. But it is nothing but the muscle than runs across your heart getting pinched. But i won't let him just assume that is what it is every time with him being a smoker...i make him go get it checked every time. That is why he didn't tell me last night about the pain. So it looks like fathers day might be spent in the e.r. by tonight. He is napping now and if he is no better when he gets up he is going. Sorry to be a downer i am sure he will be fine just like all the other times but i am still a little worried.

OMG - Michele - keep us posted on Jeff! The heart is a scary thing - I've had issues myself (I think I told you about it) - but, when you are having these 'attacks' it is VERY VERY scary! I will be thinking about him. Update us when you can!

Aww poor Jeff, that must be so scary I hope he's feeling OK soon and that you can still go out for dinner. I'd be the same if it was Paul, you have to get it checked out, just for some peace of mind Let us know how he gets on

Evening ladies, Well it is 5:45 and jeff says the pain is gone..i think he is lieing but we will see. He wants to eat chinese food so i guess he is feeling better. Thanks for the thoughts ladies. If anything happens i will keep you guys posted but for now it looks like he just feels crappy and has no more pain. Hope you all had nice days and meals if you went out. I will chat tomorrow.

Michele - Glad to hear Jeff is feeling better, IF he doesn't wind up in the ER tonight, I would make sure he follows up w/a doctor this week!

We went to the Outback, it was OK - I had chicken, and wasn't thrilled! Oh, well!
