Oh............. I wanted to say this about the FE thing also..

The thing that I am doing w/the pictures, I'd like to include the whole group on... So, keep the pics coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still need pics from a few of you guys - SANDY being ONE of them!!!!!

WTG Mandy on only gaining one pound!!! You had a great week of fun and eating, so I think a pound is great (that's good for encouragment, right)..

The FE thing - I still need to reply - I've been really busy - my sis flies in today - so I doubt I'll be DISing till she is gone - But, if we need to split up, that is fine.. OR we just have to stick w/family gifts and not individuals!

Alright, I have a few things to do before Dominic gets up, then, the other one gets up, then off to the airport!!!

Yay, it's Friday ! It's nearly the weekend

I've got a quiet day today. Becky is off school as she's got a Teacher Training day, and Kerry is at college, but isn't coming home at lunch time as she's going to Pizza Hut with her friends

I've got my main grocery shopping to do this morning, and I'll do a bit of housework

I've had my weigh-in and I have put on 1lb which isn't so bad cos after my weekend away of eating and drinking in Manchester I had originally put on 3lb when I weighed myself of Tuesday

Em is a really hard stick too. When we were in Boston at children's a couple of weeks ago, se had to have 10 viles of blood taken for tests. I was amazed they got it on the 1st stick but after the 3rd syringe it stopped flowing. It took 3 more sticks before they could get a new vein and the rest of the blood.. Em has had to get it taken out of her head a few times and her femoral artery once (when she had her spinal tap). No one believes me when I tell them she is hard stick but after the fact they are like "you weren't kidding!"

Hope your results are good!

Ian was the same way. He spent two weeks in the hospital after he was born and both weeks he ended up with his IV's in his head, feet anywhere they could get them to stay w/ out infiltrating. We joke that he was a cyborg

He was really sore and bruised when he woke up this morning where he was stuck yesterday. It was just weird to see her pushing and pushing and nothing coming out. Every person that stuck him at Hopkins got 5 vials in about a minute. The last nurse said he was fortunate he had such great "pipelines." I looked and it was the same big vein Hopkins always used. I guess I didn't realize you could get scar tissue like that in a vein. Hopefully he wont need any more for a while. I have always had problems with blood work myself and have had to had IV's in my neck.

I have now split the FE list in two. As most of the first group had already bought gifts for each other, that will have 7 families in it. The second group has got one definite and two maybe's in it, and I will make sure that the group doesn't get more than 5 or so families in it

As I have said before, this exchange is for fun, it doesn't have to cost a lot, just send fun trinkets to each other, and it is totally up to you whether you send individual or family gifts

So if anyone else would like to join in, please let me know on here and I will send you a PM with the kind of information I need

I went to exercise this morning and I'm supposed to go walking with a friend in a little while if it doesn't rain. If I could only stop snacking I would be doing OK. I will attempt to post a pic of my FE as soon as I get Bryan off to school in a little while.

Tomorrow Paul & I are going to Twickenham to see a Rugby Cup Final game. I've only been to one Rugby match before, and I loved it. We don't support either team, we just want a good day out. We're going with Paul's friend and wife, so hopefully we'll get a nice meal either before or after the game
