I'd just like to find out how you all feel about the FE exchange. Please either answer on here or PM me with your views, and let me know if you have any concerns

So far we have got 8 families definitely taking part, which is around 37 people

1. Have you started shopping for the FE exchange ?YES

2. Are you happy with the way the FE exchange is ? So if more people decided to take part, you'd be happy to buy presents for everyone ?SO FAR SO GOOD. WOULDN'T BE THRILLED ADDING ANY MORE PEOPLE TO THE LIST...LOL

3. Would you prefer if we broke the list down into smaller groups ?IF IT GETS ANY BIGGER

4. To those not sure whether to take part or not, does the size of the list put you off from joining in ?

5. Do you have any other concerns ?NO

6. Do you have any other ideas for this exchange ?MAYBE WE SHOULD PUT A CAP ON THE SPENDING FOR EACH FAMILY.

Hi Sandy and Diane!

Today I have been already busy running around with PTA stuff. The photocopier at the school broke (probably because of all my copies ) and is being repaired early this afternoon so I have a little break

Dinner last night was very nice. The restaurant we picked was very busy so it was not so quiet but I did get to enjoy my meal which is all that matters these days. Hope everyone is having a great day!

So... What happened with FIL?

Hi everyone!! Finally feeling better today yea Michelle I can't wait to hear what your fil wants Hurry up and get back on here girl!!! I want the scoop.

I had Haley and Sydney's parent teacher conferences tonight, seems as if they still have everybody at school fooled into thinking they are angels Angelina has her first lacrosse game tomorrow so that should be exciting Unfortunately her best friend and 2 other girls that she has played summer league with for three years got cut from the team so her heart has not been in it. Our district is so big that they cut kids at the modified level(7th and 8th grade)

That stinks about cuts.. I hate it when they cut at the modified level!

Hi Girls!!

I am off to bed in a few! It's been another LONG day!! Work, then after work Ant had a few friends here, then we ran to grab quick Wendy's (I was NOT good), then out for a few FE things, now here I am!

I had Idol on, but they are begging for money - so, I turned that off to watch the Mets - luckily they are winning today! (so far!) So, tomorrow will be a better day!

I am working again tomorrow - supposed to go out to dinner w/my friend Laura - not sure if we are going or not - I might be tempted to be bad again!

My sis is in from FL this Friday - We have our last CCD up north on Saturday morning, and my fav cousin's surprise party, and baseball on Sunday - then my sis goes home But, at least we'll have most of the day on Friday to go out and goof around! Oh - and my Dad is supposed to come up this weekend too!! So, that makes me happy as well.. then TUESDAY I have to go to COURT for the crap w/the other sister - why can't she be normal?? UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Enough of my rambling.. Goodnight ladies!! Hey - we get to watch the Wonder pass by tomorrow, right??

Talking of the Fish Extender exchange, I'm going to post a little questionnaire later, to see if everyone is happy with the way it is, or if anyone is starting to get concerned about the size and expense of it. I got free dining! I was able to stay at the same hotel (Pop) and same dates! I'm very excited because between our room and my BIL's room thats a huge savings! Since I already have my ADRs I'm all set except for airfare (still waiting for Southwest to release dates but that should be next week).

I'm going to dash out to finish some PTA copies this morning but I should be around this afternoon (stapling all those papers) with all of you to watch the Wonder sail by!

I got free dining! I was able to stay at the same hotel (Pop) and same dates! I'm very excited because between our room and my BIL's room thats a huge savings! Since I already have my ADRs I'm all set except for airfare (still waiting for Southwest to release dates but that should be next week).

Woohoo..... I am all set for my free dining staying at POR after the cruise.

The fil thing is long and complicated..the short version is our house is titled to them , our uncle and us and we were supposed to buy them out now that uncle nick has died. We have been paying the mortgage and taxes on this house for the last 10 years and paying to fix it up. But now the inlaws have decided they won't sell out and take their names off the title they are going to put it into a trust for JEFF and his brother gets their house(which is worth twice the price of ours by the way).So basically we are trapped here until they die now. Our plan was to buy them out and sell the house and buy a house we actually like...lol..Plus the brother gets the other house for nothing he invested nothing...it's crap and i am fuming. i told jeff i am going to see a lawyer. We are not speaking now..lol he wants to just leave it alone and wait till they die..No way am i waiting that long to move out of here. I am tired of them controlling our lives. They know once the house is ours we are moving so this way they can keep us here. I hate them......... So that is my story.

Anyone staying at Pop have any good building suggestions? What to avoid/request?

Mandy, we've bought FE stuff for little kids (same pirate stuff) but not for anyone else yet. I'd be up for drawing names if our group gets larger and setting a $ limit per person/family.

I can't recall who it was that said they had conferences and their kids were still considered angels but I know what you mean. It cracks me up how my kids are so quiet and innocent during school and can wreck havoc at home.

I went in to read for parent/PTO story day today and Brennan smiled and didn't say a single word. He is very sweet and generally minds his manners, but he is usually so loud you can hear him anywhere. I don't even think he spoke the entire 30 minutes I was there! Maybe his teacher can come along on vacation--she said she's never been to Disney!

I also had to go pick up Keegan's lab slip from his pediatrician so the minute he gets home, I have to run him for blood work in Maryland. We have no Labcorp labs close by under our insurance. I didn't want him missing any more school and he didn't need to see the doctors at Hopkins yet. He usually only misses 5 days a year for vacation, possibly 6 if he's sick and he's missed 18 so far this year. He came home with is report card yesterday thinking he was going to need to go to summer school since he missed so much. They were all excused absences and he still wound up with straight A's. I guess between his CT in a month and missing school for WDW on the 25th will bring him to 20 for the year. A mom on baseball said her son's missed 24 days just because he's been sick with colds this year! I guess I'm a bad mom but unless they are vomitting, have the runs or a fever, I send them in to school.

Once in the 80's - Roger Rabbit

I loved the 70's because it was only Sarah and I and was close to everything!

The 80's was nice because the pool was never crowded! It was great!

For me everyone will get pretty much the same thing, we will have a mostly pirate theme and will deliver ours on pirate day/night


The FE exchange is to be fun not at all stressful - I feel bad that everyone is so worried.

It is finally a great day here in Eastern PA, it might get to the low 70's. I can't wait to take my pups for a walk

although it looks like they are voting on NAP!

I would like to participate in the FE, but the number of people is a little daunting if you want to spend more than a $1-2. I don't really want to buy total junk so if we could all be assigned groups to buy for that might work out. Not sure how to deal with the people that have already made purchases and how to include new people so that it is relatively balanced. I was planning oon trying to either buy something for the family or kids/ rest of the group, but haven't really figured it out yet, I'm more a last minute kind of gal, Summer time will be a little easier for me for shopping without the kids in school.

I love the magnets! I wish I was that creative! Did you make them with magnetic printer paper?
