It's so nice to be up and not having to rush the kids out the door to their busses!

We had to do a bunch of errands and went to Dick's, Toys r Us, Target, BJ's and ate at the Olive Garden. We came home and went swimming. Keegan had a friend spend the night and they are still sleeping.

You serioulsy need to get some of the solarcaine spray. It's like an analgesic and although it's only temporary relief, it feels really good going on and I think helps way better than any aloe stuff I've tried (and I've tried a lot of them). They gave me the spray at the hospital when I gave birth to both boys for pain relief "down there" and I was too scared to use it there, but did try it for sunburns and loved it.

We kept our first cruise a secret from the girls. Back in Dec '01, we left WDW and the girls were crying their eyes out, so we told them we were on the way to Port Canaveral. They didn't believe us, they thought we'd said it to stop them crying Thankfully they did believe us once they saw the ship in the distance

I bought 3 pair of Calvin Klein shorts at BJ's. They were only $18 each and I'm glad I waited becuase I nearly bought some North Face ones at Dicks for $35 each. They are light colored, really light weight and feel like they'd dry very quick. I just hope they don't show any sweat and must remember to pack light colored underwear! They are "converters" where you can roll them up from an inch or two above the knee to mid thigh and use 2 buttons to keep them up. I have a few spaghetti strap tank tops I only wear at Disney I'm bringing to go with them. It's too hot to wear anything else there. I'll have to remember to pack my spray on sunscreen because I can't trust Brennan to cover my back well with the lotion! I'd probably have burned outlines around little hand prints.

I'm pretty well set with everything else for the cruise. I've got a ton of light weight dresses I bought for the Med cruise last year and haven't really worn since. I'll probably pack a few of those for dinners and just t-shirts/shorts/swimsuits the rest of the time.

I'm sure your girls were thrilled with their cruise surprise!

We plan on doing nothing but laundry and relaxing all day until Keegan's game tonight. This is their last week of regular games and they start play offs next week. He will have 5 more all star tournaments through August.

The secrecy about our trip to SWW is going well. I showed Brennan a youtube video of a SWW parade from this past weekend and he got tears in his eyes and told me he wished we could have gone in June instead of April. It was hard not to blurt it out right then. I decided to write a little note in a Mickey card I bought him and have him read it right before we get to the airport. I've managed to pack most of our stuff. It's hard to believe we'll be back in 4 days. I wish I had more DisneyVisa $ but I'm down to $21. We had over 400 in April. We charge every single thing we can on that and American Express, where we get 2% back in cash.

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well this weekend, but, it was better being inside than outside FOR SURE!

I just got our ME luggage tags!!! I'm so glad because I was beginning to think I might have to make my own out of card stock! I can now just do our luggage through ME and head to the parks after checking in at Pop (Derek got the door so I'm not sure if it was the hot UPS guy again...)

Michele, I hope you sun burn heals up. I had sun poisioning once from getting so burned and it's not fun. If you can get solarcane spray (sp?) that helps temporarily.

Trust me, it's been hard to keep it from Brennan, but it will be worth it on Friday when I see his little face light up. We kept our May 2006 cruise from the boys right up until we got to the luggage drop off in Port Canaveral. We kept that for 14 months!

WOO HOO -you will be in FL before you know it! The UPS guy - that is too funny!!

I have TRIED to keep the secret vacation thing - but always burst beforehand!! I got close last year - we told them a few days before we left for our little impromtu (sp?) trip to WDW.

Hope all is well with Emily today. How did here appointments go?

To all those with sunburns - no sympathy here, as I sit in my house with the heat on because it's so bloody cold. Actually yes I do (I'm just jealous), everytime I leave this town I get one. I found the best thing is zincofax (used for diaper rash.) It heals the burn (diaper rash is a burn)

As cold as it is here this is actually my favorite time of year. We only have approx 3 hours of darkness. So at midnight its still light out. Difficult getting DD to bed but it's kinda nice when you get home late and it's still light out.

LTL - I like it
