I was just on the official disney web site. I checked under the preschooler tab and it appears that disney has announced the travel with little ones is from September 6 through October 28. Can anyone confirm if this is the case. If so, I'm disappointed because I was hoping that WDW would offer the same package in August too. We are going in later August, and we cannot travel in September and October due to work conflicts.

I'm bummed!

I have two little ones and I was hoping to get them some extra fantasy land time, and maybe a DIS-MGM concert or two.

I'm bummed too! I was hoping they would do it the same way as last year; we had a great time.

I'm sorry could you tell me what this traveling with a preschool is all about?

I believe last year they did this and there we special concerts like the Wiggles and the Doodlebops and also extra maic hours for fantasyland for the little ones in the moning.

I am so excited because I was bummed last year with the announcement of this because we already had a December trip planned.

We went duirng the special pre school magic hours at MK last year at the end of August. They had only certain attractions open that are geared towards preschoolers ( Fantasy Land ). This was the highlight of our trip. My 3 year old DD basically had Fantasy Land all to herself. She played in Poohs' playground with Pooh, Tiger, Piglet with no one else was around. She was walking around holding hands with Snow White and we were the only people on the tea cups and one of a few on Dumbo. There were lots of characters roaming around. Not autograph lines, they were just playing with kids and riding the rides.

WOW that is going to be great. I hope they have this when we are there in September. My kids would be thrilled.

We were there during this at the end of August as well...my girls had SO MUCH FUN... They played duck duck goose with Daisy and Minnie, Danced with Snow White and Dopey, rode Dumbo with Stitch, and played follow the leader with Peter Pan and Wendy..and got chased by Captain Hook..lol.
They got to ride all the rides and had so much fun....it would be great if they offered this again!!!

We are going to be there then with our DS who is 4. I hope we can go to the EMH for preschoolers!

Subscribing.....interested to know more, have a couple preschoolers and will be there during those dates.....is this available to everyone or only to those staying onsite?
Thanks!

I was wondering how it works, too...do you have to register a specific way? We are going to MK before we go on a Disney Cruise in October so it would be during the timeframe. We are not staying on-site, though...so would we still get the benefits? Do you pay extra for the kids' concerts or was that just part of the whole celebration?

Wow this is great! We're going to be there during that time and I'm sure my kids will love it. Glad to hear everyone loved it last year. This is going to be such an awesome first family trip!

During this special travel time, your family can dance and sing with Playhouse Disney in Concert presented by HUGGIES® and PULL-UPS®. Playhouse Disney favorites - The Doodlebops™, Johnny and the Sprites and Dan Zanes - are just a few of the acts scheduled to appear. There will also be special Disney entertainment created just for you and your little one.

** Entertainment subject to change
For little ones, we recommend attractions that emphasize fun. We've included live shows and parades in which beloved Disney Characters spring to life, recreational activities that are at a young child's pace, and dining options that are welcoming and fun for our youngest Guests.

It doesn't specifically mention the special EMH for LO's but that is what they did last year and it was for resort guests only (just like regular EMH). DS got to play with Mickey, Goofy, and Snow White. We got some really cute pics and he had a great time.

The concert series, however, takes place in the park and is included with park admission. When we were there, Imaginatin Movers was in concert at MGM studios.

Subscribing...We will be there during that time and our kids will love that. Can't wait to hear more!

:cool1: We will also be there during that time frame and that sounds wonderful!! how exciting... Cant wait to find out for sure..

Just making sure- does the whole family get in if you have older and younger siblings.

Please more people share your experiences! I want so badly to go back this fall, but I was just thinking maybe I should wait until the three youngest are 7, 5 and 2 and 3/4 and well finish the garage and entryway in our house instead.
What do you think?

We loved preschool early entry. We were there for free dining. We had a 7:00am breakfast at Chef Mickeys which was wonderful that early in the morning. Then we walked over to MK for the earlier entry for preschoolers, we were not sure if we would all be able to get in, but they said it was for the whole family.:cheer2:
My girls ranged in age from 23mthold-12yrs at the time and we all had a great time. It was wonderful one on one with the characters. Stitch road the
carrousel in the seat with my girls. They loved it and my youngest still says all the time "Stitch stole my blankie". Stitch took her blanket and put it over his head for part of the ride. She loved it. We now watch Stitch everyday.
We were able to ride many of the rides over and over again, which was great with Dumbo:laughing:
We are going in July this year, but I would definitely go in fall to do it again if we could.
