2007 Prices

Has anyone else heard about the proposed increases for 2007?
We have not paid more than 209.+ tak for a parking lot view w/triple A at AKL. I always do all the planning. I decided to get a quote from a travel agent and was just told a parking lot view would be 325.00 for standard. We didnt mind sacrificing the view for the bunks and Queen combo. She also told me that from now on you have to pay for the privelidge of a bunk room. She said the deals I have been getting are because they made cuts after 9/11 and now are raising prices since theyare more confindent. Do they not realize how much gas has gone up? I think Disney is gouging people with the ridiculous prices per night. We would love to try staying at Poly or contemporary but I will never be able to afford it. DH does not want to go next yr but told me go ahead and take the kids so I am pricing. I am soooo bummed out now.

I think it must be "room only" because the packages haven't been released yet. I have been waiting for what seems like forever for the '07 packages so I can switch my reservation over to one. I sure hope they are released soon!!!

The 2007 prices are out but the AAA rates for 07 haven't been released yet. So everything quoted is at rack rate right now.

I'm going peak season and paying those prices for a moderate. I'm waiting for the Packages to come out to, I just want to add the Dining Plan. When I got my room, a CRO told me the middle of August packages should be released. On here everyone thinks it should be any day though.

Only room only rates are out right now! I was told by a cast member that packages will be out in June.....I plan on calling today to find out!

Please let them be released in June I'm not a very patient person by any stretch so the suspense is killing me!!!

Correct.It is room only. I am just in sticker shock at the increase.

I was told by a TA I am working with that she would get me some package quotes in "a couple of weeks". This was told to me last Friday. Soooooo nothing definite, but that makes me hopeful that we may see some package prices eralier in the summer rather than later.
