2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Dawn and I made it home last night.....

We had a great time. Loved meeting everyone that we did and sorry we didn't get to meet EVERYONE!

Can't wait to go again.

Well, I am home and at work and in pre-audit mode!

Had a great time on the cruise with everyone. Thanks everyone for all the gifts! I have luggage and gifts spread out all over my bedroom floor and just kinda dumped stuff when I got home at midnight last night.

My flights were uneventful from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta and Atlanta to Salt Lake City. However, I had to get two blankets cuz the plane from Atlanta was cold! I felt cold air the whole time from the exit door area and sitting right next to the window in the open area at the bulk head next to the door.

Loved doing the B2B. Can't wait to do it again in 2008. And, personally, I like the September date better. It works into my schedule a little better and I won't be as stressed getting ready for audit!

Thanks again to everyone, it was great. Thanks Mark for already doing the 2008 SS Member Cruise logo!

Hi all,

We too made it home, exhausted but home. Got in about 9 last night.

It was nice to meet the ones we did.

Our late dining was a bust. No one showed up to our table of 8 . Usually dining is fun but this was not. Finally the last two night another couple arrived, not disers, cause their table was empty also.

I loved the extra entertainment, but we felt everything was way too rushed. For the amount this cost we will stick to 7 days in the future.

Thanks for all the goodies. The FE was fun.

Good Morning Mark and Mary
Well we got home last night about 9:00PM. We had a flight hold up in JFK. I will never fly out of there again. Our flight was due to leave at 3:40 we didn't get into the air until 6:30.
Mary Nancy has some good news to tell you I won,t spoil it she will be on later. All I can tell you its save to say we will make the 2008 if we get through. I will let Nanc tell you the rest

I did not have my camera with me on Tuesday morning for photos of the shuttle launch. Does anyone have any pics of the big screen showing the televised shuttle countdown and launch and then the space shuttle streaking thru the sky off the starboard side? I would be forever grateful for any pictures you would be so kind to share. This was our first DVC Member Cruise and will not be our last, I hope. I will try to be on the phone at 7:00 AM on 11-17-07. But we will actually be on the road to the airport at 7:00 AM back to you know where for Thanksgiving (our son and daughter in law live in Kissimmee -- he's a cast member). They were able to go with us on the DVC cruise and had a blast. Tuesday of the cruise (formal night) was their 2nd anniversary. What fun we all had. Thanks, in advance, for any photos you can share.

We got home this evening about 730pm. We extended our stay and I ran (or jogged) the ToT 6.5K race. Loads of fun.

And I will be dialing November 17th!!

Well Nancy got a call to sub today so she said go ahead and tell Mary and Joan.
If we get through we will be going on the 2008 Cruise. While at OKW last Saturday going on our walk we got talking and one thing led to another and we both agreed after thinking it over we don't have enough points. So off to Saratoga we went we got the same offer as on the Wonder. We bought 110 points then we got the extra 100 bonus points we have to use by 10/27/2008
So needless to say we will have the points for the cruise and then some. So we are now Proud owner's in Wilderness Lodge, and Saratoga Springs. We figured if we travel do it the Disney Way.
Now we wish we had done it before now.
Everybody have a great day. Got to go rake leaves.

Well congrats Dan & Nancy, Enjoy all those points. We may do it too in a few years when the boys are out of college. Roger was not thrilled with the 4 day. So I think It will take a few years to convice him to do a member cruise again. I enjoyed it for the extra entertainments, but I wish they would do a seven day.

Next years seems cheaper- I wonder why? Maybe tips are not included.

Have a great day. I went to aerobics last night- have to work off all those desserts-It was painful.... Only gained 4 lbs so not bad.

I think the points and cash are lower because September is value season. I would guess that the tips will still be included.
