Whew! What a trip! We just got in and I'm taking a break from unpacking. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for making this such a fun trip. Those FE's were awesome! The kids, especially my youngest, was so excited to wake up each morning to see what was there and hurry back to the stateroom each day to check for more surprises - and without fail, there was always something there. It was absolutely incredible!
What a cruise! It was a lot of fun running into the Disboard cruisers around the ship. Everyone loved Mark & Mary's buttons - so many people around the ship asked us where we got them.

It was great to hang out with Jay and his beautiful family on several occasions - wonderful people with great sense of humor. It was just a lot of fun. It was, without a doubt, my favorite cruise so far.
We are giving serious thought to next year's cruise. This one was so amazing that I can't imagine what they can possibly do to top it, but DVC seems to think they can. The Legends were all so wonderful. We loved listening and talking to all of them.
I do have to share what topped the cruise for me, though. The first day when I got to the stateroom and saw the Legends pamphlet and found out that Eden Espinosa was performing - I was just thrilled.

I just love her voice and I'm a huge fan of hers.

Well, on the second day, we were talking to one of the cast members we had run into a few times and I asked her if the Broadway Beauties would be signing or taking pictures. She said no, but since I was such a huge fan of Eden Espinosa, she said she would try to arrange to get me an autographed Navigator by Ms. Espinosa and have it delivered to my room. I was of course totally rocked by that. Anyway, on the 3rd day when we were waiting in line to see the Sherman presentation (Mary was there - we seemed to follow each other around the entire cruise

) the three performers, Eden, Andrea, and Sarah had walked out of the WD Theatre after rehearsal and were walking to the elevator. I was afraid to bug them, but did so anyway,

and they were SOOOOO sweet about letting me take a picture with them. I was complete - my cruise had just become the best ever. Well, the navigator wasn't there when we went to bed on the last night and I thought, "Oh, that's alright! I can't expect her to remember the stateroom number with all the things she has to do for everybody. At least I have that extraordinary picture and the memories of their incredible performance." Well, 3:00 in the morning there's a **swoosh** noise at the door and I think, hmmm, must be the bill. NOPE - IT'S THE SIGNED NAVIGATOR! She had it signed by all three of them!!! I was so HAPPY beyond words. Believe me - I had no problem writing a thank you note and putting it in the mail - Disney Cast Members are the best. I'm already planning the framing and matting of my special souvenirs.
It would be great to read up on everybody else's favorite memories from this cruise, though.
Well, back to work

got a lot to do. The air around here is filled with ash and smoke from the fires still. The pool has a few inches of silt at the bottom and the entire backyard deck is covered in ash, but at least we still have a home. Good luck to those still traveling.
