2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Good morning everyone - TGIF!

Kay and Linda - have a great time. Dining at Club 33 has always been a dream of mine but one I doubt I'll ever see come true. Enjoy!

Looking forward to the long weekend and just relaxing at home!

Did you all notice they updated the DVC cruise website.

It says "Guess who's crusing" shows a blurred picture and says Answer coming next month.

I couldn't find anything else new. But at least it is something. I think I can recognize the picture but I can't quite put my name on him.

Yes the 13 K is still open. A little too far for us. Oh well, good luck to all of you.

have a great week end.

Well, my house is clean, the laundry is about done, and my car got washed! So, we are just about ready for Kay to arrive.

I am at work, getting some stuff done before the holiday weekend. Checked Robert, Jamie and I in on Delta on-line for our flight in the morning, so we are just about ready to head to Disneyland for the 1/2 marathon and our Club 33 visit.

Kay's in-flight. She left Ft. Lauderdale on time from the gate but ended up 30 minutes late arriving in Atlanta. But she had a 3 hour layover. I just was looking up her flight on Delta, when she called me and told me she was calling to let me know she was boarding. I said "I'm watching you right now, you are at Gate A19!" She laughed. Anyway, as long as she doesn't sit on the runway in Atlanta, she should be arriving at 3:41 Mountain time, about 4 hours and 15 minutes from now!

Jamie has to perform with the drill team at the high school football game tonight, and then we are headed to dinner, and then pack. A quick nights sleep at we leave SLC at 8:41 in the morning arriving at Long Beach at 9:15 a.m.

Figure we will have our car parked at the Paradise Pier Hotel and be in the park no later than 11 a.m.

Will try to do the new Finding Nemo Submarine Adventure, but there are no fast passes and I hear the wait is about 3 hours. So we may just have to wait and do it first thing tomorrow morning as soon as the park opens. Maybe we will get early morning admission on Sunday since we are staying on property.

We will do brunch at Club 33 on Sunday at 11:15 a.m.

Then the 1/2 marathon on Monday, reporting in at 4:30 a.m.

Okay, one of my co-workers needs help with an invitation she has to do, so, darn.......I am headed to the scrapbook store with her!

If I don't check in before we leave, have a great holiday weekend everyone!

Stopped in to say hi and wish everyone a safe and great weekend. We are headed to New York to see Mary Poppins on Broadway. :cool1: pirate: See you all on Monday.

Good Luck getting into that ride, we have annual passes, and all summer the wait has been over 3 hours even at night, so we have not been able to ride yet. This weekend will be extremely busy, I hope you don't get discouraged just trying to move around in the park. Well have fun, the tempuratures are in the high 90's, and humidity is extreme.

Humidity in LA how does that happen? Welcome to Florida.

Have a great Saturday. I am off to the grocery store and then some pool time. Boys are home from college,( With all the laundry)but both working. So we will have a cook out tomorrow.

Have a good one.

Good morning everyone! We're heading out grocery shopping as well. Rest of the weekend will be a pretty quiet one for us. I'll definately get the website updated this weekend and will let everyone know when it is done.

I guess here in So Ca, we are spoiled. If the temps are out of our usual 70 to 80 degrees, it's too hot or too cold, and if humidity is above 50%, it's unbearable. (yes, we're spoiled weatherwimps).

Can hardly wait, only 70216 more minutes to go.

eeek, I found us on page 2. Well we had a nice family day of football games our two DS's played today from about 10 am till about 3. We are all very sun burned but it was fun to be out, our weather was 84 light breeze but very sunny. Then we hosted a team from PA in the 110 weight class so we had a picnic for them which turned out very nice.

Good morning Member Cruisers!

That's right it is next month! So we should be able to find out who we are sailing with (the clue on the website). :)

Yeah it's NEXT Month. I can't wait. Sorry i havn't been posting but Annette keeps me posted on everything thats going on. The new career is keeping me busy. I have to plan my day the evening before so i don't waste time. Did everyone get the newest edition of vacation magic. They said Jule Andrews a Disney Legend (Legend in any right disney or not). Is it a hint? I would love to meet her.

OMG - I would be so thrilled if Julie Andrews sailed with us. The very first album I ever owned was Mary Poppins. She is truly a legend!

Hi All -

I am on the Wonder now for a family cruise (yes, I am a geek for bringing the laptop).

We are making our way out of port now and decided to relax on our veranda rather than do the launch party.

I promise to keep the ship safe for you and to make sure all the drinks are being made properly!

Hope you all have a fabulous week!

Here are our photos so far:

Great photos. Are you in the Walt or the Roy suite?

HI All
Nanc and I had a great time in Bar Harbor. the main reason for going was to see Dave Price from CBS the Early show if you don't know he is the weather man. All summer he has been going all over the country giving away vacations to special people. He told us he and his crew had put 14,000miles.
Bar Harbor was there last stop. He gave away a tropical trip to antega and Barbuto. The Young man who recieved it was paralized from the waist down due to a accident two years ago. He still helps all the young kids in that area. His condition doesn,t stop him. Just a great story.
We both got a signed T Shirt from Dave Price and Nac had her picture taken with him.
All in all we had a great trip did the park ate to much but oh well. Now just counting days until Oct 22

Great photos. Are you in the Walt or the Roy suite?

We are actually in a cat2 suite, both the Roy & Walt were taken when we booked. But this suite is well...sweet!!

The kids loved Animators Palette for dinner tonight and DH and I had a blast at the 80's Dance Party. I will need to bring some 80's clothes for the members cruise next month!

For all you Christiaan fans - yes he is onboard still and just as nice as anything!
