2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Good morning everyone - happy Monday!

Good luck to all you first time cruisers booking your reservations tonight!

I am not very good at this computer stuff. Where do you go to buy the tickets on the DVC site?

I see the buy ahead tickets, but they are 45.95 a piece. What am I missing? Are there any Florida resident discounts for this?

Sorry for the confusion. It was the Mickey's Halloween Treat that was the cheaper price...

Joanel - when I bought mine, they were the regular price as the discount wasn't available for that day. I just went thru the regular disney site to buy them. What day are you wanting them for?

GOOD MORNING ALL!:yay:

Thursday the 25th. What time is this?

Well, it's time to jump in. I have been lurking around for a while and at least I can keep up with this thread (unlike the 2008 East bound Panama Canal curise).

We will be joining the 2008 Member cruise this year (our first member cruise) even though we have owned our DVC property (OKW) for over 10 years now.

We will be 3 (2 cabins) (will forward the details to monorailgreen.info). We are driving in on Friday Night/Saturday Morning (already voted in poll) and then driving to the port on Sunday.

I look forward to meeting everyone and making some new friends!

Alan

Welcome to the DIS and the DCL forums. Most of all welcome to the cruise meets thread. Looking forward to getting your info and adding you to the web page.

I think you'll find a lot less drama here than on the repo cruise thread. Always nice to meet new cruisers!

Welcome!
I actually am glad to hear that the discount was not for MNSSHP on the 26th - would've been annoyed if I over spent!
Maybe I'll dress the kids as pirates so they'll get use out of the costumes for the dinner on the ship and the party at MK!

By the way- who is dressing up for Pirate Night and how far are you taking it?pirate:

First I want to say hello Alan and welcome aboard.

Okay so who is on the Disney Cruise bus to and from the resorts?

if your not then what is your transportation?

Does anyone Know what time the buses leave to go to the boat?

tiggerguy :thumbsup2

As for pirate night - I'm only dressing the kiddies. Call us sticks in the mud, but I couldn't pay my DH enough to dress like a pirate!
But the kids will be cute in their little outfits!
We are taking the DC Bus from the airport to the port on the first day and then on the last day of the cruise, we are taking the DC bus to OKW.

If I remember from the last time we cruised, the buses usually come to the resorts to pick you up around 11:30ish.

Dawn and I are both dressing up for Pirate Night!!

Then dressing as pirates for MNSSHP on the 26th.

We are getting a Van to pick us up at the WDW resort to PC and then the Van to pick us back up.

We still need 3 to 4 people.

I will be posting a last call tonight or tomorrow...

My kids have pirate hats that we bought them for the P&P party, so we will pack them and have the kids dress up.

Us, not so much.

Hi all,

Good luck to all the folks booking reservations tonight. I just did all my online stuff. The site was very slow.

Hope every one had a great Monday.

We are renting a car from WDW to PC and back. We are looking into some kind of dress-up for Pirate night. pirate:

Remember Dave the parking I think was $45.00 or around that.A few dollars higher or lower.

i was going to rent a car but the cost with gas and parking at the port would have been over $350.00 easy so when i told a friend the bus for 3 was $210.00 he called and reserved it.im glad with the bus because the last cruise we hated driving back after finding luggage and walking across the street to the lot.We where tired and still in a relax mode.
I am embrassing the bus ride with open arms this time around.

Pirate dress up!!!! I missed dress up dinner and pictures so good luck! I was having so much fun that I never got to eat at tritons/Dress up night

We are doing one day one way rentals. The price listed minus gas is less than the bus for the 2 of us. Gas would have to be around $6 per gallon for us to around the same as the bus. LOL
