2007 DVC Member Cruise - SSMC07 - October 21, 2007

Sorry I have been around, summers are so busy here with one in summer school and three at home wanting to have play dates with everyone under the sun.

yeah, we are with AT&T so hopefully the rates are not outragous!
Forgot to add, I am thinking about changing our hotel plan and now thinking about staying at the Hyatt at the airport then just getting a car service to the port. We still won't arrive till late on Sat night so no pre cruise meet for us, we'll have to catch you at the port and onboard.

wow, just checked the price and it's $200 per room. I may have to rethink this whole thing. It's gonna be a long night.

TinyTink - if you stay at the WDW resort area, we are getting a van for 10 people -(or more) if we have more people to and from PC to WDW.

Not sure if you are returning to WDW or going to the airport.

Just let me know if you are interested. Right now, I am thinking it will cost anywhere from 32 - 35 per person round trip.

thanks, I am still check on the hotel thing but I'll let you know soon what we are going to do. I want to make this cruise extra special since my parents will be coming with us and it's their first cruise. I also want to make the transition of airport to hotel-hotel to port-port to airport as easy as possible so I don't want to have to worry about the luggage and keeping track of 8 people a major effort. I did find the Hyatt for $160 per night using the AAA discount, but we will need to get two rooms. It may just be worth it for us, not having to deal with all the other stuff.

I would try priceline but I am too scared that I would not get the Hyatt.

Tiny Tink,

We stayed at the Residence Inn last year. It was very nice. They have shuttles to the port and a very nice breakfast buffet. We had a two bedroom suite for$149.00.

Try the Fairfield Inn or Courtyard by Marriott. They are right across the freeway and offer a free shuttle. Also, we have stayed at the Sheraton which is right next to those two and they offer a free shuttle also. Those are a couple of other options you may want to check out.

We do that most of the time when we fly in really late and head to the port first thing the next morning. It saves us about 25-30 minutes by not being all the way over at WDW and enables us to be first in line at the port! HA

The Disney Terminal is #8

Also, if I may add:

As you come across the 2nd Bridge, you can see the port on your left and see the ship(s).

Just make sure you make the right turn on the ramp to get to the Disney Ship. Just follow the signs and you can't get lost - (famous last words :rotfl2: ) Seriously, you'll be OK

Is that right, Mary????

That does sound right. Kay's advice is sound. Don't focus so much on the ship that you miss the turn off. :lmao: There will be overhead signs just like when you drive to the airport. Follow them and you'll be fine.

I know I read this before but where do I find the Bahamian form? I was online but didn't see it. Is this the only thing I will need to fill out when our cruise docs come? TIA

I didnt see this form online i think it may come in the packet of information you get just before the cruise.

Good morning everyone!

The Bahama form is the one paper form that only comes with your documents and isn't available online.

As for the website I'm hoping that they will start updating it more and more as we get closer.

The good news is that they are confirming we'll have a pirate night so those who want to dress up can. Linda - do you think you could get a photographer for a group shot again? Linda (seaulater) arranged for a photographer between early and late seating dinner last year for this group photo.
