On an aside note..... I called today and asked what the current incentives are to add more points. They are giving you $1000 off or 200 free points to use anywhere you'd like in a year if you buy at SSR and 800 off or 200 free points at AKV. (When you purchase 100 points)
I wonder if there are any incentives to purchase while you're actually on the ship. Anyone remember if there were any special Member Cruise add on incentives? There has to be something - hopefully something good! Plus I would have 2 months to convince DH to buy more!

Please let me know if you want to sit near others that you already know. The tables are 8,6 and 4 seaters.

bgsnmky---We would be interested in renting a 10 passenger van/limo with you. It is just my DH and I and we still haven't figured out how we are getting to port yet. We are staying at BWV on Saturday night but want to get to port early too. Let me know if you are still thinking about this. I guess I wouldn't mind organizing something if there were enough people interested. Debi

Debm - I have gotten some quotes and will keep you posted..I would like to see if there is anyone else that wants to share first. Right now we would be at 4 people...

One more thing..

I am sooo excited as we just bought pirate costumes. We wanted something for the Mickey's no so scarey Halloween party on the 26th after the cruise and then when I heard there was a pirate night....that made it easy to decide.

Yippppeee.....now I just better get a pic with Pirate Mickey!

DVCMom99 - Where in Bergen County are you? I grew up and lived in New Mi*ford until March of last year when I moved to Lakeland.

Kay - I'm sorry I missed you at WDW. I thought you would be there this weekend. Next time you come up we need to get together.

Mary - I finished Harry Potter last weekend too. I enjoyed it thoroughly but did find the epilogue hard to follow on the first read thru.

I sailed the last two member's cruises but won't be this year and have really enjoyed following this thread as everyone gets ready for this year's cruise. Have a great time everyone and the earlier everyone gets to know each other the more fun you'll have on the ship. Dinner was the big meeting time last year and it was something to look forward to.

Good morning all,

Had a little drama here last night. My 18 year old was in a car accident. Luckily no one was hurt. He was sitting at a red light and an older woman didn't stop. Luckily he drives a Grand Marquis. ANything smaller and they really could have been hurt. He had two other boys with him. They all had seatbelts on, thank God. SO they are sore, but ok. It pushed him into the truck in front of him. So his car is a mess. I doubt they will even want to fix it. It's a 96. Of course my husband is out of town, so we have to figure this out. He has a month until he goes back to college. That is the worst phone call a mom can get!!! I had a hard time sleeping and my stomache is upset. It could have been so much worse. The woman was taken to the hospital, but the sherriff said it was from the airbags. SO she should be ok.

We are off to a fund raiser for the track team this morning. a 5 k, on no sleep this should be fun.

Copper3 - I'm in Maywood. I'm sure you know exactly where that is as I'm only a few towns away.
I'm a Harry Potter junkie too - read the book in 2 days and I"m still recovering from the loss of sleep. Loved it!!! I saw an interview with JK and she said she purposely made the epilogue that way so that it's kind of like you're looking at in in a "mist" of sorts and it leaves a lot of interpretation - she wanted you to be confused as to who exactly was there, etc. etc.

Joannel - I am so sorry to hear about your son. Very happy that he is OK and nothing more. As I seem to remember when I worked, Mondays were the worst when there were a lot of accidents over the weekends or on holidays. Our phones would ring off the hook in our law office. Let your insurance take care of most of it for you. That's what you pay for. If your son starts hurting anywhere, you must pay close attention to that. My pixie dust is on it's way to you and your DS and his friends.

HI JEFF - I must meet up with you the next time. That would be so great. Bill had me so busy and going everywhere. We had a great time. I came home a couple of hours early. I had about 100 E-bay auctions end and had to put all that together. It took about 13 hours to straighten it out and pack up. Yikes !!! But I made lots of $$'s so that is OK.


JUST AN UPDATE ON MADDIE: She is home and progressing every day. We have to keep her in a laundry basket during the day so she will not drag herself all over the house, /sge gets OT each day. She seems to be doing pretty good. We still will not know for aboaut 3 weeks concerning all movement.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day I'm going to rest for the rest of the weekend. I start my volunteer job at our local hospital this next week in the clerical home health department. I am excited to be doing this after 4 years of out of work due to sickness. Can't wait.

Mary- I enjoyed last night. The cell phone info was not on the cruise line site. It was here on the DIS and the ALl EArs Net.

I am still trying to figure out if I want to do an excursion or 2 at Castaway Cay or just winder around and maybe a use a hammick.

Thanks so much for all your sweet words. They are all fine. Just sore. Walked a 5K this moring so all is well. I spent way too much time on the phone with insurance companies. They will call Monday. So I guess all is done for now. We just don't need another car payment right now. He doesn't take it to
college any way, so hopefully we can survive the summer sharing three.

Don't fotget I need your names, cabin #'s & ages for the dining list.
