Birthday dining poll

For our next visit to the World, I'd like to plan a special meal because my birthday occurs during our short trip.

For reference, we will be staying at the Grand Floridian. It'll be my teen daughter (who's not a picky eater) and me. We won't be in a park that day, and I'd like to stay in the remote area of the resort.

Here's what I am thinking, but I am open to other suggestions:

- Narcoosee's dinner timed for HEA fireworks. (Never dined here before!)

- 1900 Park Fare character dinner. (Been there years ago for breakfast when daughter was very young.)

- California Grill (timed for fireworks. I have been here a few times, but not recently.)

- Storybook Dining (while we've stayed at WL, we've never dined here)


What would you pick, or do you have another suggestion? (For reference, we've done Steakhouse 71 and the restaurants at Polynesian before.) Thanks!

Not into the character meals and Storybook was very loud in there. Cali Grill is an expensive Prix Fixe. I prefer full menu. So Narcoossees would be my pick.

I voted Cali Grill because its my favorite of those four.

Before Cali Grill went to a prixe fix menu it would always be my first choice.
Narcoossees was always my second choice but I would go there over Cali Grill now.

My vote is for Narcoossee's , but we enjoyed Cali Grill before the menu change, too. The view at Cali Grill can't be beat if you're celebrating a birthday! Have fun planning!

I dined at California Grill for my 50th birthday. That was before it switched to the prixe fixe menu. I has several family members who traveled to WDW to celebrate with me. A grand time was had by all!

Cali Grill has the better view, but Narcoosee's has the better food. I would decide between those two based on whether food or view are more important to you.
