2007 DL Hotel Packages

Has anyone heard of some package deals flight and air for the DL Hotels for 2007? I almost choked when I saw the price for room only at GC. We are staying at Hojo in April but I am flying down in November to spend a couple days with DH and we wanted to do a DL Hotel as a treat for just the 2 of us

Oh my gosh I just had a brainwave this morning. Since my husband's flight is prepaid down there for the conference I am going to use our mastercard platinum points to pay for my flight and use the rest of the remaining points for our hotel reservation to reduce the cost...Ka-ching! copious amounts of coffee clarifies eveything!~ Yipee mabey the GC is in our sights after all!

Just a hint for others too: I wanted to use points for a hotel recently. One night was 25K but we only had a little over 20K so I had to buy 5K points. It was CHEAP, only $50 so we ended up only paying $50 for a room that normally costs $319!! I never knew how cheap it was to buy points cause I had never asked before.

This is what I like about this points program compared to Aeroplan which really sucked. The points are transferred into a dollar value..It is a 10% of your point value. I have 60,000 points right now which is a 600 dollar credit. So right now I have more than enough points to cover my flight there and back and by next November we should have enough hopefully for a 2-3 nights at GC. My husband uses his personal card mainly for corporate expenses so the points really rack up fast!

also not sure what dates you are going but there is a special stay 4 nights and get the 4th night free at many hotels. We reserved the DLH and got the deal for November.

Yes..unfortunately it is November 2007. We are going in April/07 and then I am flying down in November again to meet up with DH. Mabey we will get lucky and hit a fall promo then.

Well let me know if you hear of anything. Were going October of 2007, I'm anxious to start looking for deals but nothing lets me look that far for prices. Were looking to stay at the GCH too! I'm ready to start my planning now dang it!
